Thanks for the pickled recipes; will have mom look at that as I cant concoct my way out of a paper bag.

DM- thanks for letting me know about those 2. I think now that you mentioned it, I remember frozen and I had some PMs and I opened saying “hey girl” which is common for me- and he gently said, “btw, Im a guy” 😆 He was use to it, I think he said. Thank goodness guys are secure enough here to handle the initial slip up and dont think were assuming their females because of their online persona. It’s just a general assumption since it’s likely that more than half this board is easily female. Guys that can hang here, they, IMO online, Ive found to be the coolest and Id probably get along splendidly with them IRL.

BOSKY! OMG!!! My mom found chocolate covered ginger several months ago! She fell in love immediately! I love chocolate and I love ginger… but together, I didnt like it. But thats OK; I have to watch my sugar intake any way and Ive cut so much sugar (and salt) out of my diet, that now even when I have minute amounts of it, my body over reacts. I barely, [b]barely[/i] dip the tip of a sushi roll in the low sodium soy sauce… and my fingers swell up to the size of pickles (oh! something else I love but have to be careful having! Errr darn this food thread and it hitting my cravings! If I didnt know better, Id wonder if I were pregnant)!

Thanks again for the work on the ginger picklage! Advanced mom thanks too.

Ginger and chocolate. Ewww, seriously. To those that like ginger though… do you like ginger Altoids? They just came out with dark chocolate covered ginger “mints”. I can’t bring myself to try them; the original mint Altoid w/ choc coating was gross… I just can’t justify trying the other flavors as they come out. But then, I don’t like any flavor ‘cept the original ones anyway.

I can’t stand really strong mints. I usually end up spitting them out. I don’t understand this new thought that if it doesn’t clear your sinuses or taste like cough syrup, it isn’t any good. Give me a Mentos and I’m happy.
