All you poor non-New Englanders… Red Lobster pales to the glory and wonderment that is The Weathervane! More bang for your buck and a larger selection! Unless of course you don’t like/can’t eat seafood, then it doesn’t matter 😆
BUT DO THEY HAVE DELICIOUS FRESH HOT CHEDDAR BISCUITS??! D:
September 15, 2007 at 8:32 pm #616673I find that the Red Lobsters in Toronto always overcook the fish. But I do love their cheddar biscuits.
Great seafood restaurant in Toronto is the Fish House. Don’t get me started on seafood cause then I’ll want some…*drool*
September 15, 2007 at 8:42 pm #616674Forget Taco Bell – try Baja Fresh instead. Really good nachos (which I had last night as a reward for getting through a long week).
But now I want Olive Garder – darn you guys.
September 15, 2007 at 8:46 pm #616675They closed all of the Olive Gardens in Ontario a couple of years ago. Sucks!! I used to love going there. Me and my honey used to go just about every two weeks.
September 15, 2007 at 10:47 pm #616676Okay, the 2 best seafood places I have been to so far in my life are:
Crab Shack – Savannah, GA (this is one of those places that has a big hole in the middle of the table to throw shells n’ stuff. Plus they got a huge alligator pen and bunny rabbit pen outside… which is kinda weird. But it’s something to watch while you’re waiting for a table. This is the original crab shack that inspired Joe’s Crab shack.)
Lenny and Joe’s Fish Tale – West Port, CT (The best darn fried shrimp I have ever had, and large portions. There was always a 30 min. wait to get in there everytime we went).
I also like the Rusty Skupper from Baltimore, and Pappadeux from down south. Those are good too. Anybody been to any of these places? Me and my husband are always looking for new places to eat… so I am open to other suggestions. We like to travel, and eating at good restuarants is a very important part of the trip! 😆

You’re moving to PA soon? What part? I’m orignally from the Pittsburgh area. Don’t know much about sushi places there… mostly because I don’t eat much of it! I can give you about 10 awesome pizza places though. One thing I miss about home is the good pizza. There just aren’t any good pizza places down here in GA. We found just one so far… but that’s it! We are very picky pizza eaters though! 😆
September 16, 2007 at 3:01 am #616678Sushi rocks and is my favorite kind of food. When I moved from south FL, I was so bummed to be leaving my fave sushi joint. Then the one in the part of central FL I moved to, was a drive and a half to get to (for good sushi). Now where mom is (where I am right now) and will be moving to soon (around the corner from her basically), we have 2 really awesome sushi restaurants on polar ends of the town. Im pleased and if I could afford it, would easily eat it everyday.
Nam, I hope where ever you move, youre able to find a sushi restaurant that can meet your standards. You remind me of me in that when you move you are concerned about replacing your fave restaurant. Im concerned about replacing the person who does my nails! 😆

You sound like my step-mom! She and my pop just transfered from Colorado to Ohio and she was panicking about having to leave the girls who do her hair, waxes and facials 😆 I understand, those kinds of things are totally important!

Yea, Im a girlie girl brat. But, when I first moved from NY to FL back in late 93, the first person to do my nails gave them all a horrendous case of fungus. Ever since then, Im very selective about who does them. Im sure I’ll find someone. It’s like interviewing! Mom says she likes the guy that does her pedicures, so as long as he’s gentle with my nails and knows how to do a long lasting fill for a decent price, I’ll sign up for him. Need a fill desperately too!September 16, 2007 at 7:59 am #616681travistie wrote:Okay, the 2 best seafood places I have been to so far in my life are:

😆THAT IS THE ONE I WAS THINKING OF!!! I just got the name wrong! YEAH!! THE CRAB SHACK! You know with a name like that its gotta be good!Oh, and sushi… really… do ya’ll eat it cuz you actually like it or cuz it makes you look cool?
September 16, 2007 at 11:01 am #616682Damn! You guys are torturing me with all that food talk! I have to drop almost 30 lbs. in a little ovver a month for a fight, and it sucks! I’m eating chicken breast and oatmeal 5 times a day with almost 2 gallons of water. Not to mention all the running! I’m hitting the buffet ASAP after the fight! 😈
September 16, 2007 at 12:34 pm #616683Hey, Drogo, will we be able to watch the fight somehow?

We have a Crab Shack too…I wonder if they’re related? 😕
So Ski, are you not a sushi eater? I’m not….it doesn’t appeal to me at all!!! 😛
September 16, 2007 at 2:05 pm #616685I have eaten it, but its not something I go out of my way to get. Some I like and some I dont. Cant say I have ever had a craving for it.

Sounds like me. I think I have eaten it too occasionally, but I don’t seek it out. 🙂
