      Tadpoad(tm) Grab Bag Tracking: Currently, it appears that packages that were picked up on February 15th and February 18th by the USPS are taking a bit longer than usual to travel – I believe this is due to Portland Oregon (all USPS packages leaving Corvallis go there next) having had icy conditions beginning on February 13th. The Postman scans packages when he picks them up from us, and then it is possible that they are not scanned again until they are out for delivery, and then again when delivered. The package is not lost – when days go by with no scans – its just traveling by truck or train and could be waiting patiently in a snowy mountain pass for weather to improve.

      Here is general information for you:

      When you place an order with Windstone, you will receive an email receipt from our shopping cart that says “Processing”. This means we have received your order and payment. When we have packed it up and its gone out the door, we manually send out an email from the shopping cart that says “complete” . The date of this email is usually the date the package left the building.

      When orders are shipped the tracking is sent in different ways, depending upon how the order is paid for and the shipping method chosen:

      If you choose UPS shipping, no matter how you pay for the order, the tracking is emailed by UPS at the end of the day.

      If you choose USPS shipping and pay for your order though a Paypal account, the USPS tracking will be emailed to you by Paypal and can be seen on your receipt for the payment in Paypal.

      If you choose USPS shipping and pay with a debit or credit card, the USPS tracking number is not sent to you. We apologize for this! You may request the tracking number from us and we will get it to you are soon as we are able. When placing an order you can put “Please email tracking number” in the Customer Notes field (this is found below the Shipping Address fields when you are placing the order) and we will try to get it to you more quickly.

      We apologize that all tracking numbers are not automatically sent out.
