I use Liquitex paints so if you know the names of the colors for them, that would be best. However, Im sure I can translate pretty much if you tell me whatever brand color names.

I have to touch up a baby kirin and a Flion (particularly the flanks and knee area on back legs).

Does anyone know what colors I can mix to get close to the Kirin brown coloration as well as that coloration on the Flion?

Id rather do this myself than bother Windstone at this time for touch up paint.

    Thanks in advance!

ok for the kirin….a burnt sienna or sienna is what I used..

there’s a hint of ochre to it too…so I had to blend and mix….and test

on the flion…I used a fawn color…or caramel…and mixed it with a tiny bit of burnt umber…

I had to experiment though…everything needed to be mixed…

If I win this broken Lap Dragon on eBay , I’ll have to do a little minor sculpting and some re-painting myself.

Is there a certain type of readily available paint or putty for doing both of those… ? I have some modeling putty but I don’t know if it will work well. 😕

I think Kyrin uses Apoxie-Sculpt. You might contact her. She does beautiful repairs and might be able to give you some good pointers. Good luck!

yeah….a lot of people use different stuff….I’ve used bondo…because you can shape it and sand it….

I would like to know what Kyrin uses too…..I’m still debating whether to have Kyrin fix my wizard….or to do it myself…LOL
