Not worth anything with that repaint and is obviously a Male- probably an Emerald since it has red eyes. But, can they sell this stuff on eBay… I mean, repainted such as it is and not mentioned Windstone?

    I would report that…the eyes aren’t right…it’s probably a fake!

They look like fakes to me! Send it to john@windstoneeditions.com so he can take care of them.

Opps I got the email address wrong. Fixed it now!

Well, some people don’t know what it is that they have, so it’s always possibly they’re oblivious to the existence of Windstones (doubt it). They don’t say if they supposedly “made” it, or if they’re reselling something they bought as is. But still… they’re saying it’s made of authentic animal bone. So, they’re being stupid and/or purposely misrepresenting. Their quoted retail cost is about what the Ruby Male would have cost (they have red eyes too), though the eyes are replacements (slit pupils and all). So either they got ripped off, or they’re being dishonest. They don’t have any rear shots, so I wonder if they can see the Pena on it. But I’m sure this is one John should probably know about.

I noticed the slit eyes too. But to me, that is SO the Male; look at it’s front paws. I did send an email to John but I couldnt get it to hyperlink, so he may have to copy and paste it.

Hope he nabs them before some poor soul does a BIN.

Those are fakes that are cast off the original Windstone male. Basically someone out there made a mold of a Windstone, and cast it into these illegal reproductions.

I cannot tell if this is someone that is just someone selling off a few statues that the unwittingly purchased and didn’t know they were fakes, or if it is someone that is making rip offs for profit. Please do not contact this seller, because if they are the ones making these dragons then Windstone needs to go after them.

          Thanks!!

Eeeeugh. So they dug up old bones, ground them into dust, mixed them with Elmer’s glue, and cast the paste in a mould made from an original Male Dragon.

Made from authentic animal bone indeed!

Nam- my lips are sealed. I didnt contact her and thought someone at Windstone should deal with them directly. Normally if someone lists something as Windstone and it’s not the right title (like listing a mother dragon as a “coiled”) I send them a helpful note to let them know exactly what the piece is and usually direct them to Astral Castle so they can research the encyclopedia.

Ewwww! I feel like were in some kind of “sting” operation! If this person is truly ripping off Windstone, it would be so nice to see justice served!

nah, Im not too over protective of the company, am I?! haha!

As everyone said, they are a rip off. I do find it interesting though that they say retail is $95 (but trying to sell for $30). It was like they knew what the real male dragon went for a while ago. I think they know they are rip offs.

I don’t know what kind of nasty bone it could be made of, but this seller does seem to sell a lot of taxidermy type products. Feathered things, furry things, bone carvings, and little animal skulls. YUCKY!

If there was a PENA logo on this thing… it was probably sanded off. But definitely a rip off! 😮

Those look like fakes to me, but I think everyone is already saying that. 🙂

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

When I looked at all the auctions this seller has….ewwww..they made me ill….they obviously like selling dead things….
