Geez, purpledoggy, your poor husband. He had CF and his step-father smoked around him?! 😯 I wish that was grounds for child abuse – personally, I think it is. And his father sounds like one of those “religious” fanatics that don’t really live what they preach. They drive me nuts – all holier than thou and judgemental but their actions don’t match their words. Do you watch Extreme Home Makeover? On the season finale a teenager talked about how a minister kicked her out of church on Easter Sunday because she is HIV positive! And I know a priest that refused to baptize a baby because he was “born out of wedlock”!
All I can say is that I’m very happy your husband has you in his life. And I hope that he gets on the list and the transplant goes well.
