We kinda decided that we wouldn’t do too many “normal ” creatures in the Windstone line, because there are so many other companies producing them. We sold the one little tiger years ago, that is enough for me!
I want to do a female flion- someday though, she could easily be painted like a tiger.October 22, 2010 at 5:03 am #829523Yeah, I won that little guy on 2/20/09 and he is one of my most prized Windstones!!! They said he is the only evidence that Windstone ever made tigers, was found in a box of broken Windstones, glued back together and painted and ebay’d. I am so proud of him!!! If I can ever get pictures of the collection, I will certainly post him!! 😀
October 22, 2010 at 12:02 pm #829524Aww he’s super cute! Melody, you could do a few (maybe tigers, wolves and something else) “real” animals painted in fantasy schemes…like a black tiger with “peacock dragon” colored stripes or a pink tiger or a reverse tiger-all black with orange stripes, violet flame wolves…tiger striped wolves lol I really loved this guy and tried really hard for him when he went up for sale but just couldnt go as high as someone else.

That tiger is about the rarest Windstone there is. (The lion and lamb sculpts are pretty scarce too)
We only sold a handful of the tigers when we first started Windstone. He got retired quickly because of the difficulty of painting him!October 23, 2010 at 9:01 pm #829526I have one of the original barn owls, not the barn owls sold and signed just recently. He’s pretty rare too, I’ve only seen mine so far.
