Go figure, this is kinda a half bad, half good…Me and my hubby got into a fight. He’s been really stressed this week too and said some stupid stuff which isn’t his usual way. Something along the lines of me not getting anything done this week, well that didn’t sit too well obviously. At the time we were arguing he goes to open the fridge (with some force I might add) and yanks the entire handle off the door, broken. Well, I’m just kinda standing there staring at him, and said, “Oh, yeah that was mature.” So he is angrier than ever and leaves, and is gone for 4 hours, during which I’ve got to fix dinner, get kids ready for bed, settle them in and clean up the post-dinner dishes. So I was getting even madder. Well, he FINALLY comes home with a HUGE bouquet of flowers and a giant bottle of Bailey’s (which we haven’t bought for a couple years, we dont drink often) and apparently he drove all over the place trying to get a replacement to no avail. How could I stay mad when he brought back flowers? So the door handle of the fridge and him being stupid were bad but the flowers and Bailey’s was very sweet. An upside in a week with very few. This is good. π
October 14, 2007 at 5:38 pm #624780That’s really nice! It’s nice he realized he was being unfair and bought you a present. How sweet!
October 14, 2007 at 6:45 pm #624781How nice, can you get him to talk to my hunny about things like that??
October 14, 2007 at 6:56 pm #624782Thats very sweet, htough I am sorry you argued in the first place. It happens, though.
October 14, 2007 at 11:26 pm #624783Hehe…we’ve been together 10 years and he was totally abashed that we had a fight to end off the week I’d had. π Today has went good, cleaned house, visited with kids and dragons. I called down to Georgia and they found out that my granma was killed by an aneurism at the base of her brain, so at least it was quick. It’s not a whole lot, but I know she’d rather have went that way than to be sick or unable to care for herself at the end…so I’m glad for that at least. We’re all worried about how my granpa’s gonna cope once everyone goes home. They’d been together 50 years and were still very lovey dovey with each other. I don’t think they ever left the honeymoon stage. I hope when Chris and I have been together that long we’re that way with each other. π
October 15, 2007 at 5:31 am #624784That was very sweet of him. Sounds like you got a good catch, purplecat.
October 16, 2007 at 2:49 pm #624785Today I got up and when I went to get the babies out of bed, Aurora was standing up for the first time in her crib! Things are looking up! Luna, my white beardie (who hadn’t been eating well since she arrived) is now eating like a little spikey pig. And after a horrible hot summer drought it’s raining today. Yay! π
October 16, 2007 at 7:01 pm #624786Yay, I’m glad things are finally turning around for you. Where are in my case, my mother’s cat just threw up on the floor…guess I should go clean that up *why isn’t there a disgusted emoticon??* π
October 16, 2007 at 7:11 pm #624787At least its daytime and you can see it. Nothing worse than getting up in the middle of the night and find it with your bare toes π―

In regards to hairballs…
With 5 cats? It’s inevitable around here atleast 3 times a week. Especially when they are all long haired to boot. πOctober 18, 2007 at 2:40 pm #624793*shudders* at least all mine have short hair…small consolation when your foot’s all icky. Wanted to post, I was sent a link to this site called Yuwie so I figured “why not?” and I set up a page. I added the link to my profile to my signature down below. If you want a referral link just pm me and lemme know, i’ll send you one. π
