Haha! If that’s the case I have awful credit! Oh well. One CC is more than enough for me. Can they take your card away if you have bad credit by paying the bills in full every time?

No. Its not going to lower your score like that… It just wont raise it. 😆 Its not nearly as bad as having late payments or being over your limit multiple times. They dont really take credit cards away… they will just freeze your acount if you are not paying them. I dont know what differences yours may have, though. This is American companies. They are used to things like that.

Looks like I’ve got a lot left to learn about the whole CC business. 😀 Thanks, Ski.

The other weird thing is that if you pay off your CCs every month that also damages your credit rating. Something about how they want to see how you manage debt.

Actually, I think that paying off your CC in full each month doesn’t have much of an impact on your credit rating.

I’ve always paid off my CC in full each month my whole life, and my FICO score was 830 (maximum is 850) when it was checked a few years ago for refinancing. So if paying off the CC was actually an issue, I lost 20 pts. at most because of it. However, I think part or most of those 20 pts. had probably been deducted for other factors.
