Saw it. Can’t say I was impressed. I found it long and torturous. *shrug* Maybe I’m just not a fan. I didn’t care for League, either.

I’m not giving any spoilers, but I am giving my opinion… You may want to skip!

We just saw the movie. Loved it!

It is very long, though, almost 3 hours, as the entire book is covered. They did make ajustments and cut out some stuff, but all and all, it reflected the story very well.

A warning: the movie is a lot more graphically violent than the comic – that’s where some of the changes occurred. Also some nudity.

The only things that bugged me was that the actors were in general too skinny. If you’re going to kick butt like that, you need a lot more muscle mass 😀 I also found that Laurie’s disgust with Blake wasn’t well shown, and it should have.

The guy playing Blake was a-amazing and the actor protraying Daniel actually looked like him!

We spoke with a man afterwards who hadn’t read the book and he was a bit overwhelmed. It is a very complex story, but since I know the comic inside out, I was fine. I can see how someone who doesn’t know it would be confused.

I’m soooo buying the DVD when it comes out!

Didn’t get to see it, will probably go next week. Just didn’t feel like being cooped up in a theatre today. It was lovely out.

Thank you, ghostndragon and dragonmedley, for your opinions/reviews. I’m hoping to go sometime this week.

In what movie are they not too skinny (I would place a question mark, but I am getting a funny É instead. Weird)

Hahahaha! Your keyboard’s in French, then. That’s where the é is, in the ?’s spot. You’ll have to fiddle in the keyboard settings, or if you’re like me, you have the language bar opened on the bottom right of your screen. It’s a little blue box with FR or EN in white font.

Well it works now. Usually my fix is closing and reopening the file/website. Never done it online before though. Usually when I’m trying to type up lab reports (when it’s most inconvenient, of course). But see??? Works now 😀 I just wish I knew what keyboard strokes I hit to make it do that. >.< Maybe it's the function key and something…. hmm…..
