Yeah I’ve had the liquid poop in the middle of the night. We have a changing table but right now she sleeps in the bedroom with us. I’m not going to take her into the nursery just for a diaper change so I change her on the bed after her late night feedings. She let one rip and I ended up with poop all over me and the bed. When I started yelling for Danny to wake up and help me she wet the bed too. I’m so glad we have a waterproof mattress cover lol.
::CHORTLE:: that was great! exploding, gravity defying poop-stravaganza! And trauma shears!! Gotta love being in the medical field! I’m frequently the one going “I have surgical shears!” or “I have paper tape” or “where the hell are my gloves?” Poor Alyssa!! I love babies! And DM, my husband asked me what the hell a onsie was once too! I giggled at him!
Oh the fun I have to look forward to! Pooping out of diapers, and peeing out of diapers, since I am having a boy!

Now, take that experience and square it….. Everyone thinks that with twins “experiences” are doubled…. Nope, they increase exponentially…… That same thing happened to Roddy and myself with both boys at the same time, only we were dressed and ready for church. So were the boys (it was their blessing day and they were in white…. 🙄 ) Rod had to change his suit, shirt and tie and I had to change my dress clear through the slip down to skin (showered really fast ’cause church started in 20 min. and we had to be there early…..)

Sorry… but thats funny! I think that most of us parents have been there and done that… it wasn’t funny at the time that we had to go through it but looking back and reading your post…. lol! Pour baby…
At least her poop doesn’t really smell. I guess its because she is breast feed. I’ve been around other babies who were formula fed and man did their poop smell. Its funny because when Danny changes her she always manages to poop or pee on him. His mom had bought her this cute little white outfit that she only got to wear once. Danny was changing her and she pooped all over the place. He was screaming for help and of course I was too busy laughing to do anything about it. Now when he changes her diaper he always has the spare one right there open and ready. She still manages to get him some times. I always manage to get it at night since I’m slow to change her. When its 3am and I’m up for the third feeding of the night I’m just not fast enough to get that diaper on. Danny is gonna have fun with the nightime feedings when I go back to work lol.

If she is breast fed how can Danny do it??
