I am sorry to hear that Melody. π If I had a building to give you out there I would. 8) I hope that you find one though. π

Jeeze, I must be pretty naive. I thought when you said the first one wasn’t going to work that there would be others…
Looking for houses and buildings is heck. I really do hope things do get better. π There is one other remote possibility, but it doesn’t have the right proportion of office to warehouse space.. but we can maybe work around that. Well see what happens.
June 9, 2007 at 11:21 pm #587915Good luck! Are you looking around the whole area, or just Corvalis? Maybe there’s something in Eugene or Springfield? (Heck, if the factory was located in Eugene, I think you’d see me there at least once a week!)
June 10, 2007 at 12:18 am #587916I’m sooo Sorry it did not work out but at least with the SK’s selling so well on e-bay it can help off set the GREEDY new rent you have to pay. I wish I could win the lottery then I could buy you a building. π π
June 10, 2007 at 1:12 am #587917I’m sorry to hear that too, Melody. Just look on the bright side, you won’t have to change your logo location. π
I know. It’s not comforting enough. Well, I tried.

You might want to ask some people about the HP (Hewlett Packard) campus site. HP is slowly pulling out of their real estate and are either selling or leasing to other businesses. It’s a little further out, but not by far. Just an idea.
June 10, 2007 at 3:54 pm #587919Sorry to hear that the deal didnt go as planned π … And about the wrong state. Must have confused corvalis and Colorado… I did flunk geography the first time around.

It’s a little further out, but not by far. Just an idea. We’ve looked at several buildings that HP (Hewlett Packard is the main big biz in Corvallis)have moved out of, they are always gorgeous inside! They really spend money on ’em. We haven’t been able to snag one yet!

We really want to be close to home, since our buisness is pretty much our lives! John and I wanted to have a building with our home in it. John still does, but now I’ve grown so attached to the house we already have up there, I don’t want to move from it. I don’t do well with moves. I get so attached to places.
June 10, 2007 at 8:54 pm #587922How long have you been in Hollywood? Did you live there before you started Windstone? π

Yeah, I was born in North Hollywood, lived in Hollywood then moved back to North hollywood.. so I been here my whole life. John was born in Michigan but moved here when he was real little.
June 11, 2007 at 8:04 pm #587924Sorry to hear that, but that will give me more time so I can see the factory in Cali. π

I’m sure it will be tough to relocate. Every time I think about moving, I start thinking about everything I’d have to give up here and find somewhere else and I change my mind. π
June 11, 2007 at 9:11 pm #587926I hope you find what you are looking for soon!
