The tattoo sketch is neat. The dragon is nicely done too, though to be perfectly honest he made me think he’d been in a bad fight and was covered in injuries…

I kinda thought that too at first, but there was something kinda cool about that! 🙂

It is neat and very different. But I do prefer her frog paint jobs.

Lol, really? I does look so much better in person with brighter color.

umm I thought that too at first! *giggles at the both of us*. But if you look at pics of real koi…you can see it!

You’re right, whippet – the shading is perfect for koi. I compared it to the splotches on my shubunkin. But seriously, the first thing I thought of were a bunch of bad scrapes.

Well, maybe he’s a bit of a bruiser, LOL! Seriusly, in real life it look awesome…would rock next to a koi pond though I’d have to add a few more layers ofa stronger finish to it for outdoor use. But this all got me to thinking about makng a dragon that looks old and beaten-up on this piece…since some of the scales on it are designed in a chipped fashion, you know? It might be cool to try and make one look old and wise with broken scales and some injuries.

Oh yeah! But maybe you should save that for a Keeper PYO so it doesn’t look like a little guy aged prematurely. 🙂
