😈 Little devils! The lot of you! Playing on a poor girls blondness! Im usually quicker on the uptake- but then it usually has to do with someone else and not me. But it’s true. No one lied to me they just cleverly omitted pertinent info!
Pix will definitely come and I’ll be able to upload them once my own computer is back online. Cant download the pix I have of it on mom’s baker’s rack right now cause my cam and her computer dont hook up. But once I get settled again, he’ll certaily pop his beak in here to say hello and thank you. I think mom’s other statues (except those of the same Windstone species), are scared of the Griffin 😆 I think theyre trying to form an army out of fear of not knowing what he is, and his size. He (Griff) on the other hand, doesnt seem to mind and has, with my aloofness (?), taken over the role of Alpha Statue 😛 The others might be intimidated now, but when he comes to my home with me, I’ll bet theyll miss him!
Thanks again and for all your thoughtful (and funny) PMs and responses! I never mind being the butt of a good natured plan or joke or what have you, embarassment aside.
Oh, and DM, jump into Dracomancer’s thread about the Devious Plan. It’s something youd dig if you havent already joined up. Now that my jitters are settling down about it, Im very much looking forward to it. Already scheming and plotting in my head- mwahaha!
You don’t mean the black male unicorn. He’d never be intimidated by a griffen. 😆 Oh wait, you mean your Mother’s. Sure they will miss the griffen after he goes to your new place. But, here’s why my male won’t fear a griffen. (My poor babies, all I have left of this bunch is the pearl male and the black gold curlie. 😥 )

Romeodanny, the photo is precious- the families together. I was usually a mix and match collector. But, you must know your black male went to an awesome home! He is currently overly bubble wrapped and in a box in mom’s guest closet along with any other Windstones I have or am selling. They were the hardest thing about moving! The worry!
Mom’s Lg Siamese Flapper is of comparable size to the griffin, and being a Windstone (same species), they bond together without fear… even the pyo muse I did for her knows Sir Griffin takes her under his wing. But it’s her other ton-o-statues and figurines on the baker’s rack that pale in size and comparison in the griffin’s presence- it’s almost comical. Ive taken a couple pix of him on the rack and will post it once my computer is up again. And of course, when he is settled into our new place in October. I know my furniture so Im trying to work out how to best display what Windstones I do have left. I had the original black griffin a long time ago, but for some reason I dont remember him being as big as the Sunset. It’s the same mold, right? My memory must be shrinking. If theres any pattern to the Windstones I have now, it’s easy to see it’s the black ones overall. Certainly not all the black pieces; not by far- but the ones that mean the most to me- I have 90% of them and am content.
The cats had gone nose to nose with Mr Griffin when he was opened and kind of gave me one of those looks as if to say, “what? we’re not enough for you? you have to resort to a fantasy realm?!” And then sauntered off. What they were crazily interested in big time, was the card! Where ever that card Nam got, had gone to (her place to Melody- either at the factory or somewhere), it must have crossed paths with animals. My cats were scent marking (chin rubbing) that envelope like mad! Very amusing to watch. So, while I was giddy about the Griffin, they were stoned on the card 😛

Aw, cats are so funny. I know the male unicorn is in a great home. I guess I’m still possessive. (I just noticed now that I put “my”. 😆 There are many animals at Windstone that I’ve heard of. Plus, I believe Nam has one cat. (I can’t remember now.)
It really is funny what cats are interested in. After pet sitting for one of my friends with 5 cats. My boys gave me such a sniffing! Then they spent 20 min. checking out my shoes. They even stuffed their heads inside the shoes. 😆

I had the card here for a long while, and I share my home with 4 cats and 5 parrots! Then it went to the factory, which has… well, I know Burd lives there, and maybe an iguana, I forget what all lives there. So yes, it’s been around animals! 😉

All part of my dasterdly massive evEL plan! 😈 Just kidding! Honestly, ppl are either comfortable with my personality and take it for what it is, or theyre immediately defensive or paranoid and think it’s something it’s not. Only when I came to chat boards online (not here) did I find that ppl felt awkward when others were nice – and being themselves. Why is it so hard to accept or believe (Im not talking about you; just thinking aloud)? Meh- if someone finds my personality phoney or unsettling and it gives them pause, they dont have to chat with me or befriend me. Personally, I find ppl being nice to one another, refreshing.Romeodanny, it’s not random! I brought up the cats so you followed suit 😀 It’s comforting to know that my cats arent demented and are not the only ones that stick their faces in shoes! My calico Suki, she use to do that all the time. She also had some serious shoe fetishes in that when I first got her back in 1994, I would come home and youd think a dog lived there. She would LOVE to take my leather/pleather heels OUT of my closet and chew on them! She chewed on my leather/pleather bags too. When I would set a back pack down, she would roll all over it like it was drenched in catnip or something. She did it all her life (and cost me a lot in shoes)! Before I worked some behavior modification on her, she use to shred a roll of toilet paper a day too. Imagine coming home to that frat party- daily!
Wow! That envelope saw some serious animal action! Definitely animals my cats would never get the opp to smell so no wonder they went nuts. I take it out now and them and let them smell it so I can get a chuckle! Wonder how long that will last (the envelope smell; I dont smell anything so the cats will let me know when it doesnt phase them anymore). Too bad I cant video it!
That’s funny about cats and shoes. When my sister went away, her cat would show his displeasure by pooping in her shoe when she returned. lol
