Hey Melody,
I know you’re still trying to tweak the pink color and all, but do you have any plans in the near future to paint another sculp pink (besides another batch of curls)?
I’m personally hanging out for the mother coiled, but just wanted to know how to plan.
Thanks!

September 26, 2007 at 11:47 pm #620967I’m glad someone else posted this, because I really wanted to ask myself! 😳
I know the original pink thread started out with everyone saying what a marketing disaster pink dragons would be…but…umm….those curlies did REALLY well! And I know I sure as heck would buy other dragons in that pink color!

-J R R TolkienSeptember 27, 2007 at 2:35 am #620968Pink coiled mamas would sell like hot cakes. As if the curl sculpt didnt just call out for a pale pink version, the coiled mama with her golden egg BEGS for pink. And just to be stereotypical, bet those pastel pink coiled mamas would make a huge splash at Easter time.
September 27, 2007 at 2:59 am #620969Yeah, I’m glad someone else started this thread instead of the usual suspects… which are me and Ski! 😛
I personally would like to see the Lap in pink though. I am positive that she would look perfect in that color with the gold detailing.
September 27, 2007 at 3:05 am #620970😳 sorry about the other thread….
I like the pinks, not a big fan but I really like them a lot!!! Pink mothers would be nice! 😛
September 27, 2007 at 3:09 am #620971I agree, a Lap would be nice in pink.

Thanks!I’m thinking about it. I’m starting to enjoy pink dragons. This is Ski’s fault.
September 27, 2007 at 5:13 am #620973The lap and the mama would look really good in pink. The fledge might, too. Didn’t purplecat paint a pink fledge once?

September 27, 2007 at 3:52 pm #620976I just ordered my pink curlie! I’ll squeak once I see it and think about other sculpts, but I’m thinking a Fledgling would be nice, since people seem to collect those like the Curlies.
September 27, 2007 at 3:55 pm #620977I still think that pink is a marketing disaster to the general public, but in small batches for you weirdos… why not?? 😉
Curies did well for a few reasons:
-They’re affordable, so many people collect them (and want every one made)
-They’re really cute
-They’re affordable. No really- it’s easier to drop $60 out of a paycheck every few weeks for a curlie, than say $200 for a larger sculpt when “the pink is so cute.. but… maybe not $200 cute” 😉Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
