The flooring is in!

Today, we finished putting in the flooring in our “desk” areas.

The “before” pic dates a bit; witness the size of the plant before and after. It’s the same one 😀

The pics don’t show how much more full of light the room is now. It faces north, it’s one of the rooms with the least light in the house. We screwed up when we put the shelves back in the middle, so I have more room on my side… Now there’s a bit of an echo! That’s why I put in the rug.

It is so clean now! I can’t tell you how much crap we found under that carpet when we ripped it out. We’re dang proud of our job 🙂

My soon to be MIL has the same flooring in her kitchen, it looks great!!

Jeeze I wish I could get my plant like that to grow like that one!!

Yes, keeping it clean is mos def going to be a lot easier now; the air I breathe will also be cleaner.

When I get up, I have to be careful, otherwise, I send my chair rolling into the shelves! And the plant… All my plant basically grow like this. It’s a jungle in my house!

I wish I had no carpet in my apartment. I don’t like the crap (read: cat hair) that gets stuck in it that’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to get out! 😀
