I found this cute little baby chinese mantis outside our steps yesterday. I grabbed a quick photo with him on my arm before I let him go in the snapdragons.

Cool matis 🙂 I hate those potatpe bugs, though. Creeepy! My house is getting infested with the earwigs, too. Didnt think its the heat cuz it has not been hot here yet. 🙁 Stupid bugs.

This is how I have been getting rid of the earwigs…Take a tissue, pick up the earwig and flush it down the toilet. Anyone know some good indoor spray?

I step on them… or flush them… or point them out to the dog and let the dog eat them. I have not seen to many the last couple days. Maybe they are hiding… or plotting…

I am too afraid that the earwings will pinch (they do hurt when they pinch you)the dogs. My one dog will eat flies tho.

Guess what?!?! I saw a preying mantis yesterday! I wish I would have taken a picture! Argh! When I was leaving, I saw a set of what appeared to be spider legs at first, but as I peered around the door it was a small preying mantis1 It looked at me, and followed my movements. I was a little scared to pick it up because I was afraid it might bite or claw me, so I left it alone. It was a dark color. I thought they were mostly green. It was so neat to see!
I know you guys will appreciate it!
I told my husband that ironically, many of you guys have a lot in common with me! And I told him That you guys would like to hear about it!
