The first one was a lantern bug, #2 was a tortoise beetle, #3-4 are giant water bugs, which are SUPER cool! They’re absolutely huge, and the female lays the eggs on the males back who carries them arround untill they hatch! #5 I can’t remember….

haha, my one pug will catch flys and eat them.

It is a dead leaf bug (but the bug is actually alive).March 26, 2007 at 5:20 pm #554625Nirvanacat13 wrote:dragonessjade wrote:Why did the bugs move?
So they could have a spot all of their very own! That and so I don’t completely piss off anyone with the bug porn….=P

Ack! Reminds me of “Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan” — that was a nasty scene!
Trek people like earbugs. There was a Next Gen episode that had them too, although a different kind.
I can’t remember that one — what was that episode about? It was the one where these parasite alien critters had managed to take over Starfleet’s high command, and they were trying to get parasite critters into all the high ranking officers too, (and the parasites crawled into people’s ears, and then lived in their brains, with little tails sticking out the back of their necks so the parasite could breathe,) but the people on the Enterprise noticed the parasites, and then put a fake parasite on Riker and sent him in to the high command to figure out what was going on.
March 26, 2007 at 10:18 pm #554629I remember that one. It’s the only Star Trek episode out of all the different series that completely grossed me out. And, probably the only one I’ve just watched once. 😆

I think those are the same kind of bats that I see catching mosquitos in the summer.
