The only bug bothers we have around here are mosquitoes, flies, and mayflies. This old house also offers a lot of holes for daddy-long-legs. Occasionally on hot days the horses attract monstrous horseflies.

If you want mosquitos, come visit Florida in the summer. Dawn and dusk are terrible!!!! 😯

Yep!!! I think that’s why I like the little brown bats I see swooping around in the sky at dusk. They eat a lot of mosquitos. 😀

my mom had one infest her ear. not pretty. the doctor didnt believe there was any reason for the pain in my mom’s ear–he didnt see anything. then he flushed some water in there and out came a silverfish.

They definitely are cool. We occasionally have bats living in our attic, but they’ve only come down to the lower floors twice by accident.
