So I had my ‘stones on a walmart type bookshelf..and after talking to people here and seeing the wood start to bow a bit, I bought a pair of real wood smaller bookshelves. Sooo I had to empty the shelf. During this time all of the stones ended up on one table. It was so funny I had to take a picture.
Then I put the shelves in place and started loading them up.
I know…right… PURPLE. I thought sure I would end up painting them when the weather warmed up. But gosh…now I kinda like the purple after all.
But now the new shelves are next to my bird cage. Cookie my Goffin does not seem thrilled….
but I guess he has now made peace…he is playing grap Mommies paper and throw it to the floor….watch her pick it up…do it again! Weeeeeee!
Anyway no real purpose to this post…just some silly stuff!I like those purple shelves. Good thing you noticed they were bowing before they broke. That would be a disaster. And your bird wouldn’t hurt the dragons, would it?

Actually yeah He would totally chew and then throw them to the floor. But no fear! Number one he is never loose unless he is CLOSELY watched. Number two the bookshelf is Just beyond his reach even while hanging on the outside of the shelf. But since I also have 5 dogs…he is always watched.
But thanks for thinking of that…I would worry!HA HA!! LOOK! There’s room for MORE on that table!

I need to take pics of mine now that I’ve moved… the have a new home on the new mantel… YAY!!!

They would definatly kill him if they could get to him. Now my parents have a Macaw…and it would be a toss up if the dogs or the bird would win. But Cookie my cockatoo is pretty small and he would have no chance. He does however feel free to bite any noses that poke into his cage.

Nice collection indeed! Unlike some collectors you still have room to grow, which is never a bad thing.
ooooooooooh what fun! you are making me want a rainbow emp. and a young unicorn and that isn’t good! the pieces look happy with having alot more room now! good to know about the walmart shelves.. i’ll have to hold out for target ones ( i have two already for my art book collection and they are great).. they are on sale now, but of course they are sold out! beautiful kirins too!!

tho i bet they make the room feel a bit smaller thats the bad thing about dark colors in rooms.
they show the windstones off well esp the lighter onesI like the purple coloring. It really brings out the color in most of the Windstones. A little problematic with the peacock, but no matter.
I think the purple shelves look nice! Love the collection Whippet =)
