Even though I am in Texas and currently reside in Dallas county alas I am not talking about the city.
D = Divorce
As in my Husband told me on Sunday that he wanted one.
We’ve been having problems for a long time, have been in therapy together for over a year (I’ve been in therapy for about 3 years for it) but things have only gotten worse. I thought they were getting better in December but I guess I was wrong. We have another therapy session on Friday; I asked yesterday if I should start seperating my accounts & find someplace to live (unfortunately or fortunately I don’t know yet, the house is only in his name as he bought it before we were engaged/married) but he said to wait until after our counseling session on Friday. I honestly don’t have much hope that we will reconcile but there is still a little hope in me that we will.
I’m most worried about finding somewhere to live that will allow me to have my three pugs with me. I only had the two boys when I met him & we got Pearl the christmas after we were married and already had been in the house for over a year. Most apartment complexes only allow two animals & I really want a fenced yard for them anyways. FYI, we’ve been married for three years but thankfully only have furkids; the three pugs & two cats. The dogs will go with me and the cats most likely with him but I might put up a fuss about one of them. But I would probably be even less able to find a decent living space if I have 4 animals. 🙄
So yeah. I probably won’t be contributing to conversation as much in the near future while things play themselves out. I still plan on running the Spring Gift Swap; its a good distraction.
Would appreciate happy thoughts/good energy/prayers/whatever might help sent my way if you are so inclined.

What ever you do, fight for what you can get. Sounds mean, but normally the men don’t have an issue with it…
Make sure you take the Wii 👿January 13, 2010 at 10:38 pm #802106So sorry to hear about this, it’s never an easy thing to go through! Hopefully things work out, but in the event that they don’t, I wish you the best in finding what you need. IF things go down and you need to find a place, I once tried roommates.com and they give you all sorts of criteria you can search for in a place to live as well as roommates. Pets was one. Hopefully it can help, or something similar to it. =(
January 13, 2010 at 11:07 pm #802107oh no… what a horrible thing to deal with. i am so sorry… *big hugs* hopefully this will turn out someday to be one of those “everything happens for a reason” events, you know?
January 13, 2010 at 11:39 pm #802108I am sorry as well, I hope that you are able to find a place that will allow you to have your Pugs and that everything goes well and easy.
January 14, 2010 at 12:56 am #802109I’m so sorry to hear this as well :(. I really hope that things will get better for you too! hugs!
January 14, 2010 at 12:58 am #802110I’m very sorry to hear this–sending positive thoughts your way. I do hope you will be able to find a place that will allow your pets–from your posts I can tell you love those dogs. It would kill me to have to give my fur babies up!
I wish you the best! 🙂
January 14, 2010 at 2:30 am #802111I am so sorry. As for the pets check with your local humane society and/or animal rescue groups. They may have lists of places that are pet friendly. They do up here. I’ll ask and see if they may know of something in your area. **hugs for you and pats for the babies**
January 14, 2010 at 4:36 am #802112I have no words, but I can offer zen hugs.
*hugs*
*hugs again*
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
January 14, 2010 at 4:40 am #802113My heart sank when I read your update on FB. I am so sorry for your circumstances, Traci. 🙁 I am sending you many prayers as you go through this difficult situation in your life. *Hugs tight* <3
January 14, 2010 at 4:41 am #802114I’m sorry to hear things aren’t working out. 🙁 *VERY BIG HUGS* Having pets and finding a new place can be a challenge, though perhaps if it’s just the three pugs (because they are smaller), this may help (versus say three shephards). Cats I think are harder to find housing for, especially with for apartments.
January 14, 2010 at 5:46 am #802115I’m sorry too…It’s never easy no matter what. *big hugs*
And make sure you do take that Wii…Even if you take it to run it over with the car. 👿January 14, 2010 at 5:57 am #802116WSC has a pretty good point there.
I’m sorry for you, Crimson, and wish you good luck.January 14, 2010 at 8:50 am #802117Sorry you have to go through such a rough situation Crimson Vision. I hope everything works out for the best. *hugs real tight and sends out positive waves*
