If you would like to submit photos to be considered to be used in the 2026 Windstone calendar, here are some pointers about what I look for:
*The format is horizontal
*Be sure your subject is in sharp focus
*Paint-your owns are fine, but If they weren’t painted by you, we need permission from the artist to publish them. Also let me know if they would like to have credit on the photo too.
*Seasonal themes are great!
*Don’t crop your photo. It helps to have an extra 1/4 inch of background at the top and bottom of the photo. This is for the hanging hole at the top and the wire binding at the bottom
( I often need to photshop in extra background to make room!)
*Don’t use any background art or props that aren’t your own, or isn’t copyright free … this is for legal reasons.
*No people in the pics please, but pets are ok if they are clearly happy and healthy
*You can send several pics. six entries per person ( but I’m not super strict about that )
*By entering this contest you agree to letting us use your photos in our yearly Windstone calendar, which will be published and sold through the “Windstone stuff ” Zazzle store, and that
we have the right to edit and /or to crop your image to make it fit the format.Send your entries to : reptangle@gmail.com
include the name you would like me to use on the photo, ( your real name or forum display name, or both. )
I’ll choose winners around Oct 31st 2025!

Melody announced on Facebook that she was extending the deadline – “I still need some more photos for the 2026 Windstone Calendar contest! I am extending the deadline, so if you have any great photos of your Windstones and would like to enter, send your pics to reptangle@gmail.com! … I like to get the calendars printed around start of December.
