You are so very welcome Ski :yes: – I got a bigger kick out of you getting something that you really wanted than I would have done buying it & selling it on even though times are tough . When I first arrived on the forum there seemed to be a lot more of Forum members helping each other – I know because many helped me in one way or another , especially Kyrin my shipping buddy . Is it just me or has Windstone collecting become a smidge frantic 😕 – I just don’t remember it being so competitive a year or so ago & while I realise that a lot has to do with the problems getting the factory up to speed I miss the more sedate forum/store times . And yes I have no problem admitting that my opinions may be age related 😛
Actually, Sapphire, I agree with you. There is definitely an air of frenzy about the forum when new items are prepared to hit the store. It wasn’t like this when I joined, and I joined a year after you.

I think the ‘frantic’ bit is twofold–
1. Windstone is still trying to get up to speed from their move. It’s been what, nearly a year now or so since they were last actively casting at a regular pace! This has created smaller numbers of things that are released, and thus more competition, and;
2. The forum is getting bigger as we speak! We have 746 members, and if even only half are actively collecting… that’s well over 300 people jostling, sometimes for the same pieces. The numbers were not so high when you joined the forum, ‘back in the day’.Thus.. far more people, far less pieces (for now) = more frenzy!

I hear what you’re saying Jen & I realise that all these new collectors are GREAT news for Windstone & in the long run us oldie collectors but I guess I’m mourning the closeness that the Forum had ‘in the old days’ – you know the times I’m talking of – before Ski discovered pink dragons & she & GB were mere super chatty Winstonians & I myself was a mere lurker , the days before TDM posted the craziest funniest posts on the Caturday link , so funny that the tears roll down my cheeks XD , the days when one of my £ got two of your $’s 😥 – sorry I was getting a bit nostalgic there 😀 . Anyway I guess I just wanted to thank the great & generous folk that are on this Forum that have helped/shared/laughed/cried/ranted/bought/sold over the past few years :hi:
I do know what you mean, though it was just as frantic back then. I dont know if you were around for my poem topic, but that would give you an idea if you find the ones about when new peices came out. We were a bit manic… and when we were outbid on Ebay by a…say it aint so…NON-forum member!! Gasp! 😀 It was a little closer community and much easier to keep in touch with topics, but at least the new growth is good for WS and we get the chance to meet new folks. 😉
