I just wanted to express my appreciation of how you go above and beyond. The sketches with the test pieces. The monthly raffles! Taking time to answer questions and being a part of this board. It makes the whole process of being a collector of your work that much more special. Thank you.

Yes, I have to agree. It is so wonderful that we can talk to the creator of the pieces we love so much. It is a really lovely personal touch! And you are so generous with the raffles! It is exciting to see what you come up with next! So, a big thank you from me too!

I can definitely join in on this big Thank You! Melody, your work has been an inspiration since I saw the brown dragons (a mother dragon I remember for sure) in the case at a shop, when I was a child. I probably still have that old brochure in my stuff somewhere 😀 . I am amazed and honored that you spend so much time here to answer questions, show us ideas and bounce them off of us, and hang out. It makes you more real (not that you aren’t, hah!). It makes me appreciate your work even more. 🙂

It is a real pleasure being able to know tidbits of the artist behind the Windstone creations, and that you join in on conversations, ask questions, and seek opinions from those that enjoy your work. Not ‘the man behind the curtain’, but the woman that makes OZ seem like a real possibility; allowing us to bring the unreal into our homes where they become real parts of our families.

Thank you for the joy you have brought me since ’86, when I had a few minutes to blow and walked into a gift shop near my job. Those old green dragons are still my treasures! (even though my sister’s tchotchke-hating boyfriend tried to steal them because even he thought they were awesome!)
Your dragons are the only ones out of all the ones from all the sculptors I’ve seen that have ever brought the ones living in my head out into the real world and into life. I’d have to bless you for that, even if I didn’t have the joy of them in my home.
