Ok, I will try that! I will have to go out and buy some rubber tools as well! π
August 5, 2008 at 4:52 pm #726810I know places like Delta Art in Edmonton sells those, but I don’t think they sell stuff I could use to repair stuff (though, I am scared to try, haha, and my breaks are all little ones, the only annoying one is the one that I gave to my roommate for his birthday, where half the top part of the eye of Tiger is missing…)
August 5, 2008 at 9:39 pm #726811Good Luck BDW and and thank you Kyrin for being such a great Windstone Doctor.

August 5, 2008 at 10:08 pm #726813You mean that is not what you are presently using? π―
Well you are d.. good!
They are called clay shapers and are available at DickBlicks πhttp://www.dickblick.com/zz303/03/
I’m going to check at Micheals over the weekend and see if they have some there. I’ll compare the prices too.

Nope…all I have are some dental tools and my hands. Never would have thought of using the rubber tools, but now I feel silly. Talk about simplifying things! Need to get some!

Kyrin
That is what I started with but when I was having a hard time trying to smoothe the apoxie and it kept on coming of in chucks since my apoxie was too dry I decided to use the water on my figers trick and it worked then I was looking at the end of my tool and decided to try using the protected rubber tip to do the tight stops, It worked!
I knew they sold those clay shapers since I was also interested in doing life like fairies, so what better to use on soft apoxie! π
Here’s a picture of that protector at the end of my dental tool.
