It always hurts so much when we lose our feathered, finned and four-footed friends. I’m so sorry.

oh yes, their love is so simple, it’s just there and we are free to accept it without any complications, their love is not like “I love allmost everything about you” their love is just like “I love you” nothing complicated it’s just there, and the bond that was there is just lost, never regained, just lost because there will not be a connection like this ever again, our hearts get sometimes even more beaten up than if a person dies, because you can never totally trust a person for your secrets

      at least I don’t

the trust continuously gets broken by persons, but pets never tell

thus, as a pet is lost, the trust is broken, no one to share everything with any more….

I am not quite sure, he was only 3 years old, (malnourished when we got him from the breeder so I think that he might have had some brain damage, he never reached puberty, whitch is usually reached at the age of one year) so brain damage might have been a cause, but he might also have choacked from his own poop from his floor , he used to crave it at times, no Idea why

my man just came home from wprk and was wondering, why Nevada was alone on a branch and no sound from the floor, and there he lay, motionless with bill and eyes half open, a foot reached out like he was struggeling…

        … he must have choacked

🙁 So sorry for your loss…
Birds that are malnourished will eat their poop.
So he must have develop a habit of it. Even if he had sufficent food with you.
Birds are very fragile and can die for several reasons:
Breese that they are not used to (if that is the case), malnutrition and insufficent water (not saying it was the case here), cold sickeness, poor hygene (again not saying it was the case here), bacteria….and the list goes on.

yeah I know! this is a first time that a bird has died on me, and I breeded them, my chicks were very sought after because they were tame when they kame from me, I had to give up the breeding when we moved to a smaller place, and the other bird never touches her droppings

btw what is breese? as in open window?

I’m sorry, BRoS. He was beautiful and looked sweet. I’m sorry you were only with him a short time, but you made the most out of that time, loving him and being loved by him. We’re here for you.

                        That’s what I was wondering… it’s an epidemic or something… not an epidemic I particularly want… 🙁
