I can’t find the tattoo thread Arlla had started…
Here’s the one I got done on Saturday. I wanted the redness to fade before I showed pics. I still have some of the glue for the hospital tape on, though… 😀
It is on my bare back, so I’m posting the link rather than the pic, just in case.

http://www.myfirehawk.ca/Sarah%20arts/Tatoo%20back%20SH2.jpgIt took him just under 2 hours to complete this. Was I ever glad when he was done!

But I really like that! One day I need to get another tattoo…:D

I was shopping with a friend and found a great dress on super-sale that I bought with that specifically in mind!
Though right now, all I can wear are the tank tops with integrated bra, so that shows off the top of the design very nicely.

August 26, 2008 at 6:24 pm #729644I’m sorry…I look at tattoos and just go, “ouch, that musta hurt.” 😯

I found a design somewhat like this one in a book and I reworked it to my liking. The tattoo artist then cleaned it up nicely and resized it.
I do have a tattoo on my left calf, which came from the cover of a book, Kushiel’s Avatar – one of these.
It’s here: http://www.myfirehawk.ca/Sarah%20arts/Tatoo%20Sarah%20002.jpgI am planning for one on my right thigh, and that will finalize the body art, I think. I don’t plan on any on my arms because of work, but that may change in the years to come.

Yeah, they do. For the one on my calf, I almost passed out. Strangely enough, I didn’t react as badly on the one on my back – yet it took almost 3 times longer to do. I’m not in a rush to get another one. 😆

It’s funny how different areas are more sensitive on some people.

Only some of them do, actually. Mine did, but my fiancee said his didn’t hurt at all (on the shoulder) and I have a friend who got one on the top of her arm, and she said hers didn’t hurt either.
August 26, 2008 at 11:51 pm #729648Very nice! I don’t have them, but the hubby does… The griffy cover job on his chest is the one he said hurt the most, but the tail wraps around his nipple… *cringe*
