Poor Chessie!!! 🙁 Have you tried swallowing soft cooked noodles? You don’t have to chew them very much….just a thought

Yep! Hahaha… it’s surprisingly easy to swallow noodles whole, but you have to maintain concentration–I kept forgetting the circumstance and trying to chew. Ow.

And Dracomancer… Ow. Just ow. That sounds nasty.

ddint exactly feel all that great either 😆 but dont worry your pain will go away sooner or later..also try jello..that stuff is always good

When I had my wisdom teeth removed it didn’t go that badly, but I had a huge bruise on the side of my face and a first date that night. He made me spaghetti at his house, but I had to cut it up with my fork to get it into my mouth because I couldn’t open it that wide. I still eat my spaghetti that way though. It just works better. 😀 I guess I should say that I was 18 then, and I’m 42 now, so I’ve done that for a long time.

I hope you are better soon and can eat whatever you want! 😀

Man, I’m amazed you were able to eat spaghetti on the first night, even chopped up. O.O I can still barely manage pudding.

        Applesauce! Good idea!

My mouth will open wide enough to get the tip of my pinky in, that’s it. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to manage to brush my teeth… last night I didn’t even try, but breath is reaching critical pungence and I don’t want a nuclear bomb in my mouth. Hrm.

You have my sympathy. I had all four impacted wisdom teeth and didn’t get any of them removed until one of them got infected. I made the oral surgeon temove all four at one time. He didn’t want to but I told him I was a chicken and if he didn’t get all of them at one there wasn’t going to be a second chance. My mother took me home and I put ice bags on my face for about 8 hours and then ate beef stew for dinner and went back to work the next day. The pain started when the stiches started pulling a few days later – I lost 10 lbs before everything got OK.

Ack! O.O The stitches started pulling? Ok, I REALLY hope I’ve reached that point already… XD I don’t want this getting worse.

I have to take my bf to get a couple of his broken teeth pulled tomorrow. I told him that you might want to tell the teacher (he is going to school) that you probably won’t be there on Thursday either. He said that he has no choice and that he is going to go. I can’t wait to see the outcome. Which reminds me….I should probably stock up on liquid foods as well.

          Liquid foods are valuable things.

By the way, people, Trader Joes’s Belgian Chocolate Pudding is the best thing on the planet. Highly recommended. I’ve officially done in an entire container of it since last night.

omg that sounds reaaaally good *drools*

I have a thing against tapioca and rice pudding ever since I was really little and a regular babysitter used to try to get me to eat it all the time. Negative associations ahoy! Now I can’t even get into bubble tea LOL

Ewww… yeah, that’ll do it. But bubble tea! I weep for you. D:

best wishes for a speedy recovery!!
I had my top 2 wisdom teeth until 20 when my bottom left one came in and I had to have the top left one pulled due to space. I still have the top right one and bottom left one and was told I NEVER had a bottom right one. Isn’t that strange? I’m 41 and it has NEVER shown up. The 2 I have do not bother me either so I have never had them taken out

Yeah, that would suck to not have enamel. And if he doesn’t listen to me it wouldn’t be the first time or the last. 😆 It will be his own fault.

Oh you poor thing 🙁 I remember having mine done and it was not fun. That night my Mom and my BF ate grilled steak, I was miserable that night.
Applesauce is a really good idea. Just be careful not to develop dry sockets. I ended up with 2 and I had to go back in and they had to pack them with some of the most disgusting tasting stuff I ever had 😯

I hope you heal fast and feel better soon!
