Nope. And you can always seal him, then try the interference. Then if it doesn’t turn out right you can clean the interference off with out worrying about taking your other paint off with it. <- Speaking from a bad antiquing experience here
Antiquing! Oh, shoot….. I forgot I had it! I don’t know if I’ll antique him or not, though; he almost looks antiqued already. I picked up brown. (I’m kinda afraid to use it, though…) *sigh* I guess if I mess up too bad, I can get another one. Hey, it sounds like a good reason to me! Actually, I’ve already warned George that I’ll most likely try another one anyway… Sounds like good advice to seal him first once the wings are done. Thanks!
So…..I broke down and ordered some interference paints. I wasn’t going to, but then changed my mind… And of course I just *had* to play with them once they arrived. And remember that griff I was working on? Well, he kinda sorta had his paint scheme reworked…. So he’s now a Peacock Lynx point…sorta……
I’ll have to take some pictures of him tomorrow when the sun comes back out; it’s kinda cloudy here right now. But I did enjoy playing with those paints; I’ve never worked with them before. They really are pretty cool. The griffin still needs to be antiqued and to have the masking fluid taken off.
And I’ve gone ahead and ordered another griffin and a kirin. I have something specific in mind for the kirin. Yah, I’m hooked.
