I’m really pleased with his color transitioning, and how the light interacts with the layering.
It really depends on the lighting with this one.
I took his pictures in my office (the walls in here are yellow)…so some of his white areas look as if they have gold in those photos…when they do not. There is absolutely no gold on the bird portion of this sculpture.
The overall color effect on this piece ranges from a blue/steel grey, to a shimmering storm blue when the light hits it right.
The light I used for photographing him was the natural sunlight coming in from my window, so that highlights the interference more, but yes..he does have some nice blues to him.
The pics are a really nice representation of how he looks, though I do wish they picked up the color layering a bit more.

I am absolutely IN LOVE with those diluted green/steel blue shades on white. Too bad you didn’t get nicer photos D:
