I really like many of the Candlelamps and gargoyles, not just for what they represent to me, but their artform and finish. The “Stone” finish attracts me because it seems archetectural , like the original gargoyles. To me this is a true representation of a Gothic styled object of art. In particular is my (not for sale), Griffon (Gyphon, etc.) candlelamp, as this Griffon is very close to historical depictions. I can’t believe it was retired. ————By the way I’ve been reading about e-Bay woes, on being outbid at the last moment. I need to recoup a lot of money right now so I must auction some things, (retired).
But if I get a bit of a break , I’ll probably offer up some things for sale on this web site.
And “chipped and cracked ” collectors are good to know about, though I have been very lucky at being carefull.

I agree Melody’s gargoyles and candlelamps do capture the look/feel of gothic architecture. I guess that style of architecture is gone for good. It’s a pity….

I keep envisioning setting up my room with Windstone gargoyles on every corner, and trying imagining how it would look on a winter night with all the red eyes glowing at me… But I think I’ll save that deco concept for when I’ve got my own house and a room to spare. 😀
