I’m so glad to hear you found him and he was safe! π
May 7, 2008 at 2:57 pm #697561Dang, I missed all the excitement. I am so glad this story had a happy ending. Im glad you found him. Im my old neighborhood, if a dog got stolen, they used him as bait for the fighting dogs. You usually would never see them alive again.
May 7, 2008 at 3:37 pm #697562I’m so glad Shadow was found and is home. I bet Donovan is happy too. π
May 7, 2008 at 3:56 pm #697563Awwww! What a wonderful man! I’m so glad you found him – I was worried!

May 7, 2008 at 4:05 pm #697564I actually called the school to have them tell Donovan in class that I’d found him, I didnt want him sad any longer than necessary. we’re all ecstatic to have him back, even if he wasnt missing for all that long…although with as much searching as I did..it seemed pretty darn long. π
May 7, 2008 at 4:18 pm #697565Yay! I am so happy for you and Donovan! What a great surprise for when he comes home from school!
May 7, 2008 at 4:27 pm #697566Yay for Shadow being home!
May 7, 2008 at 4:37 pm #697567Yay! I bet Donovan is sky high about now. Glad he was found and that he was okay. Sounds like the fella who found him is a nice person, glad he found him for you.

May 7, 2008 at 4:51 pm #697571I am so glad you found him and he was being well taken care of while he went on his big adventure. I love happy endings especially when it involves a pet. You are usually so happy to get them back you don’t know whether to scold or hug them – HUG THEM
May 7, 2008 at 4:53 pm #697572lol..I did, and so did Donovan, and Vacia…and Aurora.. π he is a thoroughly squeezed dog! π
May 7, 2008 at 5:20 pm #697573Congrats on getting your baby back!
I’ve used electric fencing to keep dogs in–around the top for jumpers, and around the bottom for diggers. I have both right now.
We only turn it on long enough for them to get zapped once or twice, then turn it off. It doesn’t take long for them to learn, doesn’t hurt them, and is pretty inexpensive. (you can grab the wire and feel the pulses increase until you let go–definitely uncomfortable)
I haven’t turned it on in about 16 months…
(You’d have to train them with the kids inside so they wouldn’t get into it)
Good luck! π
