This is more a tell Melody than an ask, but I can nearly see her house from here! Maybe if I got on the roof with some binoculars…
I just finished moving to Corvallis! My boyfriend is going to school here now, and he didn’t want an hour long commute, so we packed it all up. (And “it all” was a LOT of stuff. Literally tons! The moving company weighed it, and what went in their truck was something like 3 tons! And that’s not even counting any of the books (another ton right there, not even kidding) or the Windstones, which I packed into the car, I wasn’t trusting movers with them.)
Anyhow, we live just off highway 99 now at the south end of town. It’s probably too long to walk, but I bet I could bike to Melody’s place. *grin*

September 26, 2007 at 7:14 am #620766Well, I am not very fond of moves, ugh. Packing literally tons of stuff is a lot of work, after all.
But yeah, I’m pretty happy. Though still broke. *sniffle* I haven’t bought a new Windstone in ages. Oh well.
September 26, 2007 at 8:37 am #620767Sweet! 😀 Hug her lama for me. Or Emu. Or whatever the heck she has there… 😉

September 26, 2007 at 11:52 am #620769Congrats on the new digs. Moves can be difficult, but they’re so exciting.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

September 26, 2007 at 4:32 pm #620775Congrats on the move SPark, but I don’t envy you. I’m still trying to unpack from our move last Spring!
Cool Melody! The weather has cooled off so bring some light jackets and afghan throws. I’ll bring the hot chocolate. 😀

September 27, 2007 at 2:51 am #620777Well, I’m only sorta back. It’s probably not a good idea to spend too much time on the forum when I’m too broke to buy Windstones. It’s way too tempting to go into debt, just a little, just for one…. *chuckles* Debt isn’t a good idea when you have an irregular income. All it takes is a couple of bad months in a row to let interest get out of hand.
Anyhow, I’m mostly unpacked, but not quite entirely. My personal stuff and my costume studio are unpacked, and so are the Windstones and the books, but all of the random odds and ends, and a lot of the stuff that belongs to my boyfriend are still boxed up. He has to unpack his own stuff though!
