Hey Melody,
I was just looking through the galleries and saw all the griffin photos you posted several months ago. I really like the look of that spotty (beagle colored) griffin, and the gold sunburst griffin. I especially like the spotted one, because of the large amount of black and white on him.. and looks cool with subtle brown shading. The little spots are a nice touch too. Now, I do realize that not everybody likes him after reading the feedback comments. But, do you think that you will ever do any of these guys as a limited production in the near future… including the sunburst ones? I would totally buy one in both colors!

Yes, I am planning to make the beagle griffins sometime. Don’t know when.I’m glad you like the Brown Sunburst! That one is my favorite of the colors. I’d like to do those someday too, but not real soon probably. We have too many other griffin colors that we are planning to do!
July 13, 2007 at 11:17 pm #599315Oh good! I’m glad to know that they will eventually be done one day. I’ll look forward to those. Yeah, after looking at all the sunburst griffins though… I really prefer the golden brown one. He’s natural, but has just enough metallic stuff going on to make him magical looking. Those spotted ones are killer though! He actually kinda has the same coloring and markings as my Bassett Hound! 😀

Hey, I noticed a little red eyed albino male griffin pic in the store. But when I click on him, it just takes me to the blue eyed guy again. I need to tell ya that I’m lovin the red eyed one, and want him! 😯 Will these guys be made available for our purchasing pleasure soon? Are they going to be regular or limited production?
July 14, 2007 at 5:46 am #599317The albino male griffs came and went last year (Spring/Summer-ish, I believe), and there were only a few made. It seems they just linked to the wrong small pic for the store. I’m confused why they’re saying “Albino Pearl”… Albino was the pink-eyed one, and the blue-eyed one was only ever called Pearl…

They were already sold via eBay, last year I think, and are all gone. They were limited production, so they might make more… might not. Melody can maybe answer that.

The blue eyed ones were originally called “Albino Pearl – Blue eyes”. That kinda just evolved into “Pearl”. Same griffin, two confusing names (this happens a lot!).
Though I think the first set of blue eyed albino pearl had 24k gold leafing, and the newer ones have 18k gold. I think. Not 100% sure.Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
My art: featherdust.comJuly 15, 2007 at 4:26 am #599321Oh such torture to see that picture! I was getting all excited that another pink eyed one might be made. I just figured that the picture was posted too early or something. But I guess it was just a goof. 🙄 Oh well, at least I can look forward to the spotted ones later on and the Sunset ones too!

Sorry , I didn’t see this question!
The albinos with pink eyes were a very small batch(12, I think). They aren’t “retired”, but so many people wanted them with blue eyes instead, I switched to blue. The blue eyed ones also ended up with allot of the pearl paint on them, so they are now called “Pearl”.
I will someday do a batch of pink eyed albino female griffins and chicks. When I do, I will also do a few more pink eyed males to go with them.July 20, 2007 at 9:16 am #599323No pink eyes, but a spotted griffin would make my day!! I have been patiently waiting. 😀
July 20, 2007 at 1:16 pm #599324I didn’t care for the spotted ones, My favorites so far have been the brown sunburst, the green eyed wolf-colored, and the sunset griffins. I really liked the white babies but the momma and daddy griffins didn’t excite me as much, my white babies are ADORABLE!!! I think the old black griffins are really cool but they are miserable to find…plus I’d want the babies in that color most anyhow… I’d like to see a grey colored griffin eventually as something production but not for a long time being as I have enough stuff to save up $$ for! 😀
