Spectral claws painted differently?

Hi everyone! 🙂
I have 3 Spectral dragons. Two of them have the claws fully painted in gold and one has a skinny gold line on top of all the claws.
Should I be concerned? See pics…

Interesting…

I checked both of the spectrals I owned, and my peacock one has the strips of gold while my black gold one has the entire claw painted. I’m not sure what to say, it could be a difference in painters or a difference in the paint sample. I don’t think that it’s anything to be concerned about.

All three of mine are Peacock.
I wonder if there is a painter at the factory leaving thier mark? 😉

No worries, msdunaway. I have Spectrals with both types of claws. If the narrow gold strips bother you, you can always color the whole claw gold with a marker.

I would say that someone different probably detailed the gold claws on the two different ‘versions’. 🙂 Nothing to be worried about. The variations in paint jobs are one of the things that make each Windstone unique, as they are hand painted. 😀

The only rising spectral I own is the IVEP and his claws are all gold

Cool, no worries. I just didn’t want a PYO as I thought it might be. If it was a PYO, the artist would have to be pretty good as everything else matched perfectly.

Took me a long time to find one for a good price but I’m pretty sure I bought it from a member here in the Flea Market section. Just keep an eye out and good luck. 😆

A PYO? You mean your spectral? Spectrals were not and never will be released as PYOs. 🙂 PYOs are a totally separate line from normal production Windstones. 🙂
