EDIT: This Old Warrior has a new home!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. The Special Bengal Flap Cat still is up for trade, though!
I have a prototype Old Warrior that I like, but I’m not in love with.
Backstory:
I did a trade with Melody many years back where I traded her a Lab. Griffin for a Secret Keeper. Things happen, as they do, and when I visited the factory they were out of blank SKs to paint and I didn’t want to give Melody even more work, so I just picked out an OW off of one of the shelves.
He’s very pretty, but he doesn’t scream my name!!I am looking to trade him, straight up. He does not come with a certificate/drawing as he was never on eBay. I do have his box.
He has been displayed both at the Factory and at my home and while I lovingly dust him he might have a little dust here and there. No hang tag– never had one!He is a prototype Old Warrior, painted over emerald as I think all prototypes are? Original red eyes. He is called “Autumn Gold” and is signed by Melody.

I should note that his gold detailing is ‘crunchy’. I’m not sure how to describe it. I suspect that it’s gold leaf!! Because of the way that it’s stuck on in a crackle pattern. He came this way and I think it’s actually rather dashing on him, given his battle wounds, BUT! someone else might feel it is a defect so I want to be clear about it. Here’s an example of what I mean:

I am horribly picky. I know, I know. Since I don’t hate this OW (he just doesn’t sing out to me is all), I am only looking for a few things in trade.
Some of these are a long shot. I actually doubt that some of these even belong to forum members! I don’t know who owns any of these pieces. I respect if the owners don’t want to part with them, no worries!!

There was also another ‘autumn’ Old Warrior that had a lovely leafish pattern on his wings that I LOVED but I was a dummy and didn’t save the links/photos. I’d trade for him!
I will also consider trades for other earthy green or brown based old warriors, because goodness knows I’d forgetting some!

She is a Bengal Flap cat Artist’s Edition, #2 by Melody. Signed felt pad. I will have to check on her box… she has a pristine hang tag. I have displayed her, but she’s been kept in a sealed display case and so is not dusty.

I will consider any special large flat cat, eyes open or shut, if they are grey-based. I don’t know why, I just have a soft spot for grey kitties!
I am especially fond of green and blue eyed cats.

I wish I had something to trade you for Jen but you know me. Everything I own is bright colored and awfully LOUD ^_^ LOL! Probably a bit too loud for anything you would like, but good luck!!! I'm sure someone will trade for special pieces like those <3

No offense taken and it is why I have them and you do not, we all have different tastes which is what makes there enough for everyone, well in some colors anyway, LOL. Would not say that about Barnswallow or a few other colors.

If someone wins him and wants my bengal flap cat, I’ll trade even, no problem.
I am even very seriously considering trading my Autumn Gold Prototype OW for him… though there is a bit of a difference in value; I will think about it though! I really like the blueberry scratcher. The scratcher’s goofy expression is perfect for why I like him in this color.
