I was looking at the white lap on eBay but the seller had “0” feedback so I sent her/him an inquiry as to how the dragon would be packed along with an address for he tutorial and I recieved the following answer. I thought this was very nice of the seller.
Dear darjeb,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR DIRECTING US TO THIS SITE! IT IS A WONDERFUL THING TO KNOW, AS WE WANT SATISIFIED CUSTOMERS. ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED AS DESCRIBED.

March 9, 2009 at 6:50 am #755230Ah, another someone who takes proper packing seriously. That’s good.
March 9, 2009 at 3:08 pm #755231It’s so nice to find sellers that are willing to take a bit extra care with packing and shipping; plus being polite and friendly in their emails!

March 10, 2009 at 5:24 pm #755232I won that white lap dragon and I asked the seller to add insurance since it wasn’t included, let me know how much it was and I would pay for it. I got an email from them this morning telling me insurance is $10 extra dollars….I’ve done a lot of shipping and insuring and I’ve never spent more than 2.70 on insurance. I sent them an email back telling them this and asking them where they got that estimate from. What do you guys think? I only thought good things about them up until now. They seem to be confident about how to pack and they’re answering all my emails..but $10 dollars for insurance?
March 10, 2009 at 5:32 pm #755233I think I’ve paid that much at the post office before.

Insurance for a $200.00 item is only $2.70. They’re trying to make more money. $3.00 would have been more than fair. :spank:
March 11, 2009 at 6:04 am #755235Hmm, I don’t know USPS that well but insurance on my packages to the States is between five and six dollars. And in Switzerland most everything is expensive.
March 11, 2009 at 7:09 am #755236They emailed me back saying that insurance was an additional $2.00 and that the $10 was an error. I thanked them for re-checking that and paid them. I can’t wait to see her in person I don’t have any white dragons yet except for the scratcher I have on layaway with asral’s castle, and I obviously havn’t seen him in person yet.
March 11, 2009 at 10:04 am #755237That’s great! She sounds like a very nice person.
March 12, 2009 at 11:48 pm #755238Not a very nice person. I thought you guys would like to know I’m in a town nearby them and offered to buy some others they had listed outright. After many e-mails trying to get them to call to meet up to purchase them they finally called and stated that they are not from a store closing but he is selling them for his landlord. He is doing this because they seized a tenant’s property because he owed back rent and they are selling everything the guy owns. The guy that called sounds disabled, he’s very slow to speak. It was a fantastic deal and ones I’ve wanted but after thinking about it I’m not comfortable buying something that was taken from someone when I know how upset that would make me. Granted, I don’t know the whole story but I do know it wasn’t voluntary and buying property that may be stolen is not something I want to get involved in. I also was watching the lap but missed bidding on him I forgot he was ending.
March 13, 2009 at 12:35 am #755239Yikes. That taints the win I think. I don’t know how I feel about that now 🙁
March 13, 2009 at 2:54 am #755240I know. They had some stuff they were offering me at about half the price of what it’s worth, both stuff I want and stuff I could resell though I don’t really have the extra cash to buy to resell right now. Apparantly they’ve been in contact with several people from what I know and they had made it sound like it was just me and I had the ones I asked for. So who knows?
March 24, 2009 at 11:55 pm #755241Just so people are aware, there are more items up under that id. Good luck to anyone who bids.
