twindragonsmum I have certainly learned alot about internet personalities from the time I have spent on here. I have learned to take everything with a grain of salt… sometimes a whole barrel.
We log IP addresses here. That means if someone is using more than one account from the same place it shows the same address to us (e.g. purpledoggy and necron99- since they are husband and wife). It’s very easy for us to ‘find’ out. It’s also easy for us to completely ban any new members from a given IP.

Hopefully it will never happen again. But you did everything possible to defuse the situation, Nam. Unfortunately, we can’t control how other people act. 😥

I always thought we had different ip addresses since we are on two different computers. I guess if hubby is ever bad and gets banned he will take me with him 😕 I’ll have to whip him into shape.

I actually only saw the beginning of the drama and withdrew myself at once, embarrassing dramas like this make my skin crawl

there have been an awful lot of embarrassing things posted lately, and I’ve been here for like almost 2 yrs at least I have never seen so many posts stopped or “butted into” (rightfully) by various members of the staff 😀
(sorry about the way I put this, but I am really not good with words, things I say tend to offend or insult people when I bring in my humourous point of view, I have listed myself as the top thread killer)

Doubling up on accounts happens at alot of places. I was an admin on the internet game called CounterStrike, better known as Cs to us junkies. (It goes hand in hand with WOW and UT. Just other forms of it are more popular now. In many cases, there would be a hacker or someone who just liked to be a *beep* would come in and have about 5 different accounts. Ban one, and in they come again under a different steam ID or a different IP address, and throw the entire Webster’s slang dictionary at you, plus some things that would make a drunken sailor blush. Yes it is possible to have multiple IP’s if you have an IP generator (Unless they have stopped the use of that program. Who knows, I am talking a few years back).
The same thing applies to forums. And although I don’t really know her, and can only pass judgement on what she has done here, I am still willing to bet she HAS had trouble on another forums some time along the line. 😕I dunno. I don’t care anymore about it, what’s done is done. I would stand by Ski all the way anyway. 😀 She has helped me and been patient when it came to issues with mail delivery. I could not have asked for anyone to have been better in that particular instance. I felt horrible it happened, and now that she is in Hawaii, it shouldn’t happen again! 😉
Some people may not like what went on, but everyone has their own opinions.
Nam, I think you do a marvelous job keeping us in check when needed. 😀 And, sometimes we all have to do things we don’t want to. 😉
I am sorry for my for my part in it. Even though I do have the annoying habit of pointing out the problem again even as I apologize, it doesnt mean my apology is not sincere.

no, using that term “scitzo” would not be correct. just like Tatt calling the one ebay buyer illiterite was not nice, sticking a word like that to Tatt just because she acted out would not be good eather.
Scitzo is a real medical condition in witch the person is completely detatched from reality. As much as Tatt did act out and was at times inconsiderate…she certainly did not display the qualities of this medical condition.
I do think we all need to remember that even though she caused a lot of trouble, Tatt still is a human.
(I am not meaning to come off as Chastising BRoS, I am just trying to make a point that i feel would be good for all of us on here to keep in mind 🙂 )

I wouldn’t have thought of it either, so don’t feel TOO naive. I’m right there with you. 🙂 And Koishii is right: judge not, lest ye be judged. Everyone has flaws, it’s just some are more pronounced than others. I’m sorry too, Jennifer, this has dragged down your month. I appreciate everything you do for us here, and don’t want you to hit a low point in your life based on what transpires here. I’m really sorry.
