        How do you like Oregon?
I think it’d be wonderful having room to spread your wings, but does it rain a lot there? Do you have neighbors close by or are you guys all on your lonesome?

Oh man, I love it -love it -love it!! Everyone keeps saying I’ll get sick of the rain, but not so far! Although, as I moan and groan about often, moving really messes with your head. But other than that, and all the new problems, we are really happy to be here! ( new problems such as mice EVERYWHERE, yellow jackets nesting in the ceiling … stuff like that. But I’ll take those in trade those for rattlesnakes and roaches any day!)
At the factory we have very few neighbors. We have a very quiet dog kennel on one side, and a few houses down the street, and that is about it.
At home here we have a few neighbors spotted around, but you can hardly see them through the trees. It is a bit lonely.
It’s definitely not the same insane, raucous community we came from! I am used to schmoosing with the neighbors, both human and animal, daily.

If you need to borrow a cat to assist with the mouse problem, it could probably be arranged. =^_^=

Some people that work at the shop have cat allergies though, so that won’t work. We used to have two shop cats in CA. When we moved, Karen took them home with her.

There are some small dog breeds that will hunt down and kill mice and rats…I would assume they need to trained though. Really if you guys can stand it I’m sure a non-venomous snake of some sort will turn up to take em’ out for you…that always been our solution to deal with wharf rats around the barns and house..some big ole’ black snake or corn snake shows up and the rodent population goes kaput..lol and if you don’t bug the snake it won’t bother you..except for the odd surpise encounter.. 😀
