Sonic Blue Wolf Nonsense

Okay I have 2 wolves I’m working on…one I LOVE and one I HATE! I mean really HATE!

Here’s the HATE!!! He’s WAY TOO BRIGHT BLUE, & is slated for ebay. Before I finished him I wanted to get some feedback on whether or not I should just repaint him entirely.

Here’s the LOVE…It’s another version of the Darcia wolves with more natural wings. I like it so far, but it’s been REALLY tedious work sinc eI have to blend the crap ot of everthing to be happy. The only advice I need is whether or not I should make the backs of the wings dark brown or keep on with the pattern I have on the fronts??? I just think if I pattern them it might be too “busy” looking.

I called him Sonic cause he looks like Sonic the Hedgehog, seriously. He’s so bright in person it’s hard to look at…kind of like staring at the sun! LOL!

I love the blue one and I don’t think you should paint over it. I like the wings on the darcia one. When you say back feathers are you talking about the longer ones on the side of the wolf?

i think it is beautiful. it looks as though a blue jay mated with a wolf. no idea how that would actually happen. a more realistic theory is a wolf genetically modified with bluejay dna. 😀

I like the blue one far more than the other one(says the person who always paints rainbow wings….). he looks like a blue bird. 😀

I like them both, but especially the blue one! Don’t paint over him. Sounds like if you put him up for auction, you could sell him for a bit. 🙂

I particularly like the blue one..much much more than the brown. I love the brown’s wings..but the rest is kinda muddy to me.
The blue is perfection…don’t change a thing!

I love the blue wolf as well! Don’t repaint him please! 😥 If only mine had come out that well.

As for the back sides of Dacia’s wings I would say go darker. A lot of birds have plain feathers on one side of their wings and flashy on the other side.

Wow, I’m actually really shocked so many people like him. I can’t stand him! LOL!

dragoness, I actually painted the primary feathers since this pic to match the other feathers, I just wonder if I should make the whole backs a darker color on the top part of the wolf. Kind of on the idea of Nam’s reddish grey wolf. Hmmmmmm???
