My husband went outside to go to the doctors and noticed that someone has put caulk on my back bumper across the mustang letters. I’m pretty sure it was the neighbors kids since my husband thru the football they were playing with yesterday after it hit our cars. I have no way to prove it but I’m so mad right now! I’ve spent alot of time and work on my car and have won a few trophies from car shows I put it in. It really makes me mad that no one has any respect for other peoples property. If I see those kids near my car again I’m going to tell them to stay away and if there mother ever comes home I’m going to talk to them. I’m on the phone with the police to file a report but it won’t do me any good. Ugh I’m so MAD!
January 22, 2008 at 7:09 pm #658540That’s terrible I feel for you
January 22, 2008 at 7:13 pm #658541You should still report it. Do you have a video camera? If you do, when you do see the kids near your car, go for the camera right away and start shooting, that will give you proof. Maybe even let them start damaging your car…I know it hurts but sometime we have to do the extreme. Or you could tell the kids that you have hidden surveillance camera around your home so next time they do something they will be caught in action. 👿
January 22, 2008 at 7:34 pm #658542Oh that’s not nice. 😡 What is the world coming to today. No one seems to respect other peoples’ property anymore.
January 22, 2008 at 7:42 pm #658543I hope you can catch the little in the act!
I can tell you from experience, even a “dummy” camera can help. We had problems for a while….somebody cut open our bag of topsoil and spread it all over out front porch and the guy across the street had his birdbath and driveway lights knocked over all of the time. We put a camera in the window pointing onto the porch and that all stopped. A few months later, the neighbors next door kept having their solid brass driveway lights stolen. He found out who it was and pressed charges. The stupid kid was selling them for scrap. Now the kid has a juvi record and his parents have to pay for the driveway lights.
January 22, 2008 at 8:06 pm #658544I have a camera but its my mothers (she let me borrow it for the baby but she wants it back already) so I can’t use it. I’ll have to think of something because its just getting worse around here.
January 22, 2008 at 8:13 pm #658545I really don’t understand the way people think sometimes. 😥
January 22, 2008 at 8:25 pm #658546Danny didn’t go to his doctors appointment because he wanted to get the stuff off my car and he knew I couldn’t do it. I wish he would have gone but he said he rescheduled for next week and he should be fine. I don’t like it when he misses appointments. At least whatever it is they put on my car didn’t cause any lasting damage. I still filed a report with the police and I’m trying to contact the home owners association since they like to know if any vandalism happens (I dont’ know why they never do anything).

I had a kid once throw mud at my car while it was parked at my house on my property.
I swear that kids these days are getting bad! *NOT ALL KIDS!!!*
I wish I knew of something to help remove that stuff from your car without damageing it. 🙁 I hope that you can catch them in the act although I don’t want them touching your or your husbands car again! But making a report is a good thing. I hope that all goes well!
January 22, 2008 at 10:16 pm #658549Oy vey! At least they didn’t do anything to it that was lasting damage, but they shouldn’t be messing with it at all. I take it you don’t have a garage?
Could have been worse, but still.
*hugs* Hope your day gets better!
