Thanks! Well I actually signed her up first, and was plesantly shocked that DAENERYS wasn’t taken on here 😀 We were just gonna share a nick, but then I got to thinking, I’m on the computer more than she is and I don’t want a chick’s name, so I tried Drogo out, and to my surprise again, I got it 😀 The names kinda fit us because I’m Asian and she’s caucasian.
Hello and welcome! Glad to have another collector and reader to talk to. Unfortunately I haven’t read any of the books your talking about, but now they are something to look out for. I usually get my books second hand, though I love book stores, a lot of them are expensive. I want to read all of Terry Pratchet’s Discword series, but at 8 dollars a book? I’ve been looking for them at used book stores but have only found one, apparently people don’t like parting with them.
I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~
Engaged to a WeaselBiPolarBear…check them out at the library…I think you can download them also…a friend of mine did that…I’ve actually read a book or two at the Borders or Barnes and Noble cafe…although the price I spent on coffee more than paid for the books 🙄 Song of Ice and Fire is a great series….they’re making a HBO series out of it…

If you want to quote someone, just hit the “quote” button in the upper right corner of the post you want to quote, and you can edit the content so you don’t repost the whole thing, or highlight parts of it….Like I did to yours. Also, if you want to see how someone imbedded text into their post, if you use the quote feature, it spells everything out…

Coffee! Yes, one of the staples of my life. I’m afraid I don’t understand the people who aren’t addicted (like my husband).
Any notion of when George is going to finish the series? (I’m really hoping he doesn’t follow in Jordan’s footsteps. I started that series way back when the 4th book came out, so now I’ve been waiting almost 15 years for the series to end. I really feel for those who started w/book one, like my sister.) I started Game of Thrones when it first came out, so I’m starting to get a bit worried… (and don’t ask me for consistency, ’cause I’ll be disappointed when the series ends; except it is time for Jordan to finish.)
Ha! Try Jean M. Auel (Earth’s Children series). Had to wait 12 years for book 5 and the series is not done. That was in 2002… The first book came out in 1980!
Yeah, Jordan and RR Martin are taking their time, but they’re not as bad.

Well I am not one of those people who is addicted to coffee. I can’t stand the taste of it. Infact caffiene gives me a tummy ache so I don’t even drink soda with caffiene in it unless it is a tiny amount.
