Yup, the white one was hard….but, that red dragon was the worst! She is SO much prettier in real life. I really like the red pastels I got.
The green and purple muse may get wings, I’m not sure. I’m totally in love with my little goddess muse. She was so much fun to do, and I love how all her little copper ‘tattoos’ came out.
I’m bummed the dragons didn’t do better on ebay. They are all beautiful and they all took some relative skill. The blue one took a gazillion layers of light baby blue, the pastels kept taking on the color of the gypsum. But, thats the chance you take with ebay I guess.
I’m really pleased with how my griffs came out. The grey was a challenge again because I had to do a lot of layers to stop the gypsum from showing thru. I have been trying out some different brands of pastels so I’m not sure if it was just the shade of grey or the pigment in the pastel. *ugh* the white griff was a PITA. She was really hard to keep clean as I was using the grey pastels to barr the wings. As far as difficulty tho, she was pretty quick and easy to do.
I’m working on a unicorn now that is a christmas gift for my youngest cousin(11yo), and then I’m gonna do some black dragons with fun interference colors on them. I’ve got some neat blues and greens and a red interference I’m dying to try out. *crosses fingers* I may get an airbrush from Santa, so that would be fun to use too!
