This is a “Emerald Hatching Emperor Dragon” this statue is retired and no longer in production.
Catalog No.: 508-E
Issue Year: 1997
Retired: 2000As far as I can see there are no problems. No chips, scratches, paint rubs, ect…
I feel very good in saying it is in PERFECT CONDITION.
I have done my best to look it over but I am not an expert.
Tried to sell on eBay here is the Item number: 290618906857
October 26, 2011 at 3:27 am #860917I know people were interested in it, but I think you were asking a little more than these typically go for. Wolfen usually has information handy on what a standard asking price is.
Good luck selling this guy!
October 26, 2011 at 3:54 am #860923LOL! Well now that you mention it – :p I sold my emerald hatching emperor last year on ebay to another forum member for $100. I think mine had a small chip. Id say in general they run $90 to $110. Maybe $120 if it has the box, tag, and pretty pictures. Good lighting and color go a LONG way. Unfortunately being retired isn’t always indicative of value. A piece’s value reflects its sought-after level as well as its rarity. In 2006 the brown male griffin was very rare and fetched $300. Now there are more of them being sold and hes worth a third of that.
I’m no difinitive guide. Of course you can ask what you want. The above is just my advice based on my personal observations.

October 26, 2011 at 4:25 am #860927Really? In mint shape I’d say more like $150-$175… that’s just me though. I have one and I think I paid 2 bills for it a few years ago.

October 26, 2011 at 9:40 am #860933I sold a set of Rainbow Hatchers recently for $150 each, in mint condition and with their tags and boxes. I think they are more in demand than the Emeralds, and I know the Emerald Hatchers are on eBay more often.
Yes, LupusLunae, Emerald is more rare than Peacock; probably every color is. Peacock was so popular that there are lots of them around. 😉
October 26, 2011 at 1:07 pm #860939I paid about 125 each for my set of hatching emerald royalty.
October 26, 2011 at 2:42 pm #860943I got mine before the rainbows, browns, and silvers were out, so they were probably more in demand back then then they are now i suppose.

October 27, 2011 at 12:38 am #861000Did Bullsquid finally get an emperor emerald hatching? Yay if you did!
October 27, 2011 at 4:31 am #861026Alas, no. I’ll have to be patient and wait for another to go up for sale. It’s just as well though -I’ve blown my Windstone budget big time. 😛
October 28, 2011 at 12:04 am #861080Everyone understands that feeling, I hope you get one soon!
