Just out of curiosity… With the advent of solar garden lamps, I was wondering if you had ever considered doing an outdoor candlelamp type critter using a solar lamp instead of a candle to make the eyes glow?

Yes! We did kick that idea around! The solar things were very expensive at the time, and we had yet to perfect the outdoor cement casting anyway, so we kinda forgot about it.
Oh that would be cool! Please consider it: having some glow-eyed Windstone beastie lurking in my garden would be the most fun ever! (I’d have to plant a garden for it to lurk in first, but details, details . . . ;))

You could also put them in planters on a deck or patio. That’s what I’d do. (I have no back yard and you can’t see the front yard from anywhere except the kitchen, bathrooms and office.)
