My first Windstone was the Male Unicorn, bought for my birthday by my at the time, new boyfriend, who incidently is now my husband of 15 years, together for 18.
So if he wants to know whose fault it is I now have about 50 in the house, it’s his!

Haha! Puts him in a tight spot if he every wants to complain about them. π
April 7, 2008 at 12:09 pm #687233My first Windstone was a baby peacock Oriental dragon. Don’t have him anymore though. I kinda go back and forth with liking the Orientals.
Right now… I don’t care for them.April 8, 2008 at 12:35 am #687234the first piece I bought was my white hatching kinglet, and he was an impulse buy on eBay…I have trouble with impulse buying…
My boyfriend had showed me the dragons on eBay and mentioned that he wanted the white scratcher…so I’d decided I was going to buy it for him, and wound up deciding to collect some for myself too π

Well I think my first one was the Emerald Hatching dragon. I showed my best friend of 15 years when we were in high school. That is what she could afford to give me at the time. My favorite color was green and the emerald color really appealed to me and made me really excited. The first one that I personally bought was the Emerald Male with orange eyes because that was the cheapest. I really wanted a emperor dragon, but they were too expensive for me at the time.
My first Windstone was a Brown Hatching dragon, for much the same reason. It was what I could afford at the time. π I wonder how many of us got started with Hatchers? π
Hmm, I wonder. That might be a good poll to start. πApril 8, 2008 at 2:00 am #687236dragonessjade wrote:Greater Basilisk wrote:And while you’re at it, can you post up a pic of your circle of OWs? You have about half a dozen special ones, at least…
Yeah, I will try to post a pic this weekend. I don’t have the Brown or White OW anymore π₯ , but I still have the rest of them.
Here are my OWs. All of them are signed by Melody except the Ruby (which is the only regular production one I have). 5 of them are prototypes. I don’t consider the Special Gold OW and the Special IVEP OW regular production.
Enjoy:

Tee hehe. Your welcome. π
April 8, 2008 at 3:37 am #687243I’m down to 37 photos needed – 11 special auctions and 26 regular production pieces. I’ll probably do a post some time in the near future asking if people have clear pictures of the pieces by themselves. I went through the “Show Your Collection” threads and I just couldn’t find good pictures of the ones that are left. I keep hoping they will show up on ebay but not luck just yet.

Hmm, I wonder. That might be a good poll to start. πI agree…….My first was when we went to a place in Orlando called Old Town. I walked by a store and saw the male Kirins eyes. I went in and looked at him and the female and walked out, But I couldn’t get them out of my mind. I went back in and bought them. Everyone thought I was out of my mind, but I had to have them. My hubby just smiled. Just like he did tonight when I showed him your birthday wishes to me and the Poads. π π Got them too π Alan likes Melody, he thinks she’s sweet and down to earth. He really liked that she sent an autograph for me with a drawing. I could almost get anything with his approval because of that alone. π

I think you should definately post a list of which ones you are missing.
I could probably post more pics if I knew which ones you want.
