So tell me Dragoness….what was the first Windstone you ever bought and why? What about it appealed to you? 🙂

Well I think my first one was the Emerald Hatching dragon. I showed my best friend of 15 years when we were in high school. That is what she could afford to give me at the time. My favorite color was green and the emerald color really appealed to me and made me really excited. The first one that I personally bought was the Emerald Male with orange eyes because that was the cheapest. I really wanted a emperor dragon, but they were too expensive for me at the time.

Yeah, I will try to post a pic this weekend. I don’t have the Brown or White OW anymore 😥 , but I still have the rest of them.

My first Windstone was a Brown Hatching dragon, for much the same reason. It was what I could afford at the time. 😉 I wonder how many of us got started with Hatchers? 🙂
April 5, 2008 at 7:46 pm #687223I started with the coiled emerald mama. She, the emerald coiled male and I think the emerald young were the first Windstones I ever saw. I guess she was cheapest.
April 5, 2008 at 9:22 pm #687224I wonder if very many collectors start with OW’s ❓
April 5, 2008 at 9:26 pm #687225By actually buying one as their first Windstone? Good question. I know of a couple people who started collecting because they saw OWs, though.
April 6, 2008 at 10:39 am #687226I believe I started with the small flapcats…same price range as the hatchers. I never even thought about buying an OW until I came here. 😆
April 6, 2008 at 12:25 pm #687227My collection has almost doubled since I came here, including the OWs. I had one for years and years, a peacock. Now I have two and the other one is a BEP. 😆
April 6, 2008 at 4:25 pm #687228The first Windstone I purchased was the winged wolf gargoyle. But the first one that arrived (yay, USPS!) was the green hatching dragon. 🙂
April 6, 2008 at 4:28 pm #687229My first Windstone was the Male Unicorn, bought for my birthday by my at the time, new boyfriend, who incidently is now my husband of 15 years, together for 18.
So if he wants to know whose fault it is I now have about 50 in the house, it’s his!

April 6, 2008 at 8:33 pm #687230Mine started because of the original Black Griffin(Which I still don’t have) but my first one is my Baby Uni.
April 6, 2008 at 11:13 pm #687231My first Windstone was the flion. My husband and I had been going out for a few months, and I got him a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day. He hadn’t thought about it and came back from a store with a flion.
then he gave me the young peacock and the male kirin… so it’s all his fault too!
