Wow, congrats!
May 10, 2007 at 5:27 pm #572840Congrats! He should buy you a Windstone to celebrate; -)
May 10, 2007 at 5:41 pm #572841Congratulations!!! What happy news!!!! 😀
May 10, 2007 at 5:54 pm #572842Congratulations! Great news! 😀
May 10, 2007 at 6:21 pm #572843CONGRATZ!!! I agree with lamortefille… they should have a party for you and get you lots of windstone… hell we should all pitch in and get you a windstone.. lol… If your mom doesn’t change her mind after the baby is born then she doesn’t have to be a part of it… 😛
May 10, 2007 at 6:30 pm #572844LoL yeah my husband should get me a windstone, hehehe. Its kinda sad though because I don’t think anyone except me and my husband are going to be happy about this baby. My mom doesn’t like kids and his mom and family don’t really talk to us. I think they are going to be mad that we are trying to have children with my husbands health being the way it is. He’s not going to get any better (unless he gets a lung transplant) so we figured we would try and see what happens. No one was happy when I got married and now no one will be happy that we are having a baby. Ok thats the end of my pitty party.
May 10, 2007 at 6:40 pm #572845Congrats Purple!! 😀 😀 😀 😀
And tell your husband that now you have another excuse to buy Windstones!!! You have to get the baby it’s own collection!!! 😆
I hope your mom realizes that this child was very muchly wanted by you and that you’re not just going to dump it on her, to raise for you like so many people these days. Hopefully that was just her way of warning you away from having a child at too young of an age! 😀
And I’ld share my mom with you if I could!! I had the problem of how/when to tell my mom I was pregnant ’cause I knew if she was in one of her down moods she’d quit her job on the spot to move out here with me. 😯 I timed it right and only have her waiting with baited breath on her retirement in another year or 2 so she can be my Nanny!! Then I’ll just have to worry about ever getting my own child back from her!!! Maybe if I can get her on the Boards….. Or you move out here….
May 10, 2007 at 6:41 pm #572846as long as you and your husband are happy, thats all that matters!
May 10, 2007 at 6:41 pm #572847Well at least you know we’re happy for you!!!
May 10, 2007 at 6:45 pm #572848Lol yeah at least someone is happy for me /giggle. My husband wants to move to Canada, thats all he talks about. I don’t want to move because I love my job and I don’t think I would be paid as well somewhere else. Not to mention it took me two years to get this job.
May 10, 2007 at 6:46 pm #572849I know the feeling….my mother’s family disowned me, I didn’t meet my father or his family til I was 18 (they live pretty far away), and my husband’s family doesn’t really like me much and we’ve got three kids. Every time I was pregnant my husband’s family would shake their heads when I was around and they constantly go on about something they don’t like about the kids. Your child is precious and if others can’t see that then it’s their loss..not yours. Hold your head high and be proud to have your house-family and a forum family. We all love you and wish you the best. We’re all happy for you.

Wolflodge is right. I think your family is being rather selfish if they can’t rejoice with you. But like Lupin said, we’re very happy for you. 😀
May 10, 2007 at 8:42 pm #572853Yep, I am happy for you as well. I am going to adopt, but only when it is the right time. And you probably won’t be able to buy as much, but just think of what will be comming. It is a lot of work, but well worth it.
