That’s funny… because my grandparents live there, and they prefer it to Edmonton… and they even live across from that huge park they have, on 108ave (not the worst, but since the fireworks are right across the darn street… they almost have to replant their lawn every year… and they had a drug dealer next door for the longest time. Man was that entertaining. Especially when the cops came and busted it… they were happily chatting with my grandfather while breaking down the door. 😆
Both my parents grew up in that area, Dad in Sexsmith, and Mom in Badheart (It doesnt exist any more), my sister lives there, most of my aunts, uncles and cousins, on both sides, live there, it is the place I spent the most time other than my home town growing up. I fracing hate that place, I find it dirty, and not very pretty, and if I never have to go back, it will be too soon.

If you manage to get into the middle of the park (where they give you all dem bear warnings and such) you get something resembling prettiness. Note I said resembling, I didn’t say how well… 😆 Yeah, I hate that place too… I was so glad when I moved. However, I do miss the cheap rent… of my grandmother’s basement… hahahahaha….
LMAO I bet, my mom is trying to get my dad to move back there, a trip may be in my future if she wins, but it seems with his illness he is even more stubborn than ever.
I remember going to the old red and blue, which was a theater in the mall, before they renovated it, and the floors were the same colours as reese’s pieces (this is prolly before you were born ( 😆 😯 😕 ) And they had a “fuzzy orange” there mmm I loved fuzzy orange. I bought my guinea pig in the zellars in that mall one easter as well.
I think one of the biggest reasons I dont go though is that I cant seem to go somewhere and not see some family member of some sort, and they want to hug me, and for the most part I have not got a fracing clue who the hell they are 😕 Even going in to the Fresons IGA at 2 am I found some cousin???

Strange… sounds like my fiancee in GP. Lots of his family in Grande Prairie…. lots and lots and lots and lots and…. you get the idea.
Sounds Like my Male’s family, and the couple trips I’ve had to take there. Though the only reason you would have gotten decent rent would have been living in your family’s basement there the last few years. We’re still not paying the same amount for our place here as he was paying for much less there.
And umm Yeah Snap that’s about the price they charge for their Emp’s. Oh and if any of you remember My reason for not having a black Griffin, well that’s the same store.
