i can tell you that most computer nerd/geek guys are nice–at least in graduate school or at professional jobs. in undergrad, they tend to be psychos.
i guess i cant help. 😐
ok, i really need to get back to my writing. i am starting to post for the sense of posting.
March 18, 2007 at 2:18 am #552733omg i have to put this in here! i got this from my girly friend who knows of my bf.s shenanagins! this is awesome! lol!
Dear Tech Support,Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a
distinct slow down in overall system performance — particularly in the
flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend
5.0.In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such
as
Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable
programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation
8.0 no
longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I’ve
tried
running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Signed,
Desperate
Dear Desperate:
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while
Husband
1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: ‘http: I Thought
You
Loved Me.html’ and try to download Tears 6.2 and don’t forget to
install
the
Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0
should
then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
But
remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to
default
to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very
bad
program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO
NOT
install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will
eventually seize control of all your system resources). Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are
unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary,
Husband
1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot
learn
new
applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to
improve memory and performance. We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie
7.7.Good Luck,
Tech Support

Having been married before, I can attest to that. I’m an old soul and hopeless romantic. Can’t help it.
March 18, 2007 at 9:24 pm #552737Hahaha! That’s great, tf. Thanks for sharing.
March 18, 2007 at 9:33 pm #552738I’m a hopeless romantic also

Yah, but not so great a catch for the girls 😉 LoL
I dunno about tips….I had a couple really bad relationships before I found Louis (one of which gave me a nice little reminder scar…) and just got sick of it all….Renniasance faires are pretty good places to look, just make sure they’re not complete bums! =P (or freelancers, they tend to have that “roamin’ spirit”)
Find someone who treats you as well as you want to treat them and never stop building on that. It’s one of those “Ask not what your hubby can do for you, but what you can do for eachother” type things. And trust is the absolute mother rule, don’t EVER break that!
Ok, enough of me being Dr. Ruth…..I don’t know about cloning my man, but I’ll be sure to put our sons up for auction to you guys when we get around to making some! =P
*ducks and runs for cover from Louis* AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
March 18, 2007 at 10:48 pm #552741As long as we keep the first born, I’m ok with it.
March 18, 2007 at 11:01 pm #552742I see why you recommend renaissance fairs…I went to ours in Tampa yesterday and I had a blast 8)
March 19, 2007 at 2:28 am #552743ive only been the pennsylvania and maryland renasaunce fairs (can someone put a spell checker on these things??) the md one is great for shopping and dressing up; entertainment is good too. the pa one is great for intertainment, not good shopping. i did know someone who performed at the md one, he was a nice guy.
someday i hope to return to the pa one and get another drabbit.
btw, both last for several weekends in the end of summer begining of fall.
March 19, 2007 at 5:29 am #552744The MD one is supposed to be one of the best in the country! I have yet to be in town durring the season…..(We’re usualy busy with faires out here) Our friend does leather working, belts/vambraces/manacles/baldrics and such, he’s been doing the east and midwest faires recently, look for MagiCreations leather if you go to the MD faire this year! Hopefully he’ll get in. =P
March 19, 2007 at 6:30 pm #552745Aw, how sweet Nirvana. 😀
March 19, 2007 at 7:34 pm #552746Yeah. I met the hubby at a renaissance faire too. But I’ve had past boyfriends that I met there and they weren’t all good boyfriends. Most were slackers, so you have to be careful. Stay away from musiciams (those who make a living at it and attract lots of women)… they tend to roam. 😉
The hubby is a wizard, btw. Wizards are good husband-material… at least, so far. 😉
